I'm writing this because everyone always reads the 1 star comments. Dr. Slenn and his staff are AMAZING. Seriously, they care about you and your pet. They are quick to respond and have always been helpful. He will tell you to keep your dog lean. Not because he thinks you should starve your dog, but to ensure that you keep them on a balanced diet and exercise routine because that's how nature designed them to be! Even after we moved 20 minutes further away, We will continue to make the 50 minute drive to use him and his staff for our animals..

Dr. Slenn is a great veterinarian. I only recently started using him as my vet, but so far, he's been the kindest, most accommodating vet I've ever dalt with. We had to have out old dog put down recently, and found out that he will actually do what they call a farm visit, where he came to my home and put the dog down here, so she could spend her last moments in her dog bed, comfy and not scared. Then, a few days later we got a condolence letter in the mail from the office. It was hard going through such a sad thing, but Dr. Slenn and his staff made the experience so much easier.

Dr. Slenn and Dr. Mokos are the best. Caring, compassionate and extremely educated! Also, very reasonable. Can not imagine going anywhere else!

Dr. Slenn is a capable vet and a pleasant guy. Among the veterinarians we have tried, we have liked him the best and now we see only him. The only regrettable thing is his availability. Dr. Slenn seems to travel quite a bit and as a result he is often out of the office. I certainly can't blame him for that, but it does put us in a bind sometimes. We prefer to see a single vet (not just a single office) and like our vet to get to know our pets.

I have no idea what happened with "speedy", but based on the years of experiences we've had with Dr Slenn and his staff, I would unequivocally state that the issues she's speaking of had more to do with her emotional response to a such pet than it had to do with the actual events as they happened. This is the best vet in the area, bar none. Best for expertise, best for price and best for professionalism. We thank God that we found him.
