This is my first experience with Dr. Bieber & the South Russell Veterinarian Hospital [I reside in Lorain County.]; and I wish to express my deepest appreciation for Dr. Bieber and her staff [Brooke & others!]. Through a co-worker, I was alerted that the clinic had two kittens who needed a new home. I have a 12 year old male who was lonely after our recent loss of his two siblings. When I expressed interest, the staff immediately emailed a picture and I fell in love! Dr. Bieber was gracious enough to keep the kits for another week until I could schedule time to come out to pick them up. She even stayed late that evening so I could come out after work. I could tell after a tour of the clinic that it and its residents are cared for by a professional and loving staff. Since then, the kits have had their spay surgery. They were very well taken care of and show no adverse affects from their stay. I can’t thank Dr. Bieber and her staff enough for the care and attention she gave to two orphans and then bringing the two kits and me together.

Not very happy with getting dinged on $45.00 EXAM 3 weeks after the Yearly Exam was just completed! I went in to take my dog to get a booster shot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Never had that before and have had dogs and cats for 30+ years! Stopped in and was told that its normal proceedure??? Will take my Dog (That was there) and my two other pets elsewhere! Thanks for the learning experiance!

We have been using SRVH for about 8 years now and I have found Lori to be really caring, very friendly, and she knows the animals well. As a previous reviewer stated, she will get right down on the floor with the animals if necessary. One of our dogs had a bad experience at a kennel and then was afraid of Lori. She took the time to get to know him again to regain his trust, even having me stop in when I was just in the area so she could take a few mins. with him. Sue, one of her assistants, if very knowledgeable and has given me all sorts of good tips for training, etc., etc. I would highly recommend SRVH.

I used this clinic for 10 years. When I sought a second opinion after VERY expensive tests were recommended the vet was EXTREAMLY upset. I wound up going elsewhere.

I am retracting my positive recommendation not b/c care is bad, but b/c I feel they are too focused on my wallet, and they are fiercely defensive and speak to you inappropriately when you try to express a complaint. I spent about $600 there over 3 months for two puppies. You cannot walk out the door for less than $100 per dog per visit. When a friend took our dog in for me, the bill was $28 more than the check I wrote, and the receptionist came after me like I was a criminal. I was really hurt and offended. I am taking my chart elsewhere.
