Professional Vets! I highly recommend them for all of your veterinary services. The Drs. Cron are highly trained in a great variety of animals and both are extremely personable and caring. I have had an excellent experience with the Doctors and their staff each and every time.
There are no better veterinarians than Glenway. Drs. Cron and Dr. Naas are the definition of caring, knowledgable professionals. In this day of corporate medicine for people and now animals, this clinic is the real deal; individual care, compassion, experience and an understanding of what owners want and can support. We live in Anderson Tsp and happily travel to the West Side to have the best care available for our German Shepard and several cats. Thanks to everyone at Glenway Animal Hospital.
The best staff and most caring people work here. As much as we had to put our 13 year old cat down, they handled it (and me) with great compassion. We were given every option available and the approximate cost before any decisions had to be made. If you have animals, this is the place to bring them when they need care.
We have been taking our two house rabbits to Glenway Animal Hospital for almost three years. In that time we have gone to our regular wellness checks, because they were feeling ill, and for a spay. Every time we were treated with respect and kindness and all of our questions were answered with care. I never felt I was asking a silly question or wasting my time there. Recently while in Columbus, I found an abandonded house rabbit. The Columbus House Rabbit Society was extremely helpful and recommended a vet I could see immediately in Columbus. While there, I was told by the vet to make sure I took our new foster bun to Dr. Naas and Dr. Cron, as they were the best in Cincinnati with small animals. I have to say, I agree.
My first contact with this animal hospital was calling to inquire about their rabbit veterinarian and their rates. My second call was to make an appointment to have him examined. Both times the staff was very kind and patient (the second time they were even closed but she still took the time to book me without complaint). My first impression of the site was that the building was very small, which had me a bit worried. However, when you walk in it is nicely decorated, clean, and there is plenty of seating. I was greeted by both the staff and Angus, the resident cat. I was immediately helped and was taken back by a technician within 10 minutes who was knowledgeable about rabbit care, which was a relief. No less than 5 minutes after the tech helped us with weighing and asking about his general health, Dr. Naas joined us in the room. She is very skilled, has a positive energy, and does not talk down to you at all as I have found with some veterinarians. She examined my rabbit on the floor and he was very comfortable with her (even jumping in her lap)! In addition to speaking to me, she spoke directly to him as well. Treating him as an individual and not just some pet. I explained to her that I needed him neutered as soon as possible and she cleared a spot for me within 2 weeks. She was patient with every single one of my questions and you can see her passion in both her body language and in her conversations about animals. The day before his neuter was scheduled the vet called me to remind me, walked me through the process once more, and gave me a list of things to bring with me. The next morning I arrived right at opening and again was greeted by the excellent staff (and Angus too). Again I was informed of how the day was scheduled and what both my rabbit and I could expect. She gave me 2 phone numbers to call, in case one of them wasn't answered due to busy staff, and told me I could call any time and as many times as I needed or wanted to throughout the day. After the surgery Dr. Naas followed up with me twice, which was very helpful in relieving the anxiety and worry I felt over my furry family member being put under the knife. Again she told me to call back if I needed to and meant it. Every time I called the staff was always positive and I never got that "Oh, it's HER again" vibe. To say that this practice is amazing is almost an understatement. I have officially found a rabbit veterinarian that I will be going to as long as I can, even though it's 30 minutes across town. Also, to any rabbit owners, these vets are recommended by the House Rabbit Society and they gave me a ton of literature on bunny care. (They even have a Make Mine Chocolate campaign poster in their lobby)!! If you need a veterinarian, whether for a rabbit or not, contact this place. Visit them, Call them, Come in and check them out. You won't be disappointed!
