We saw the new vet, Dr. Kelly, and she was exceptionally kind. The nurse with her was also very nice. We had to wait about 20 minutes but didn't feel rushed when it was our turn. We had been going to another local vet but it was closed when we needed an appointment. Now we are going to change permanently. The front desk people were also very nice and helpful

We've been taking our cat here for years. All the vets have been knowledgeable and helpful. They're extremely compassionate. When I had to have a beloved cat put to sleep, fresh flowers and a card arrived the next day. They definitely go above and beyond for the clients. I can't recommend them highly enough.

We have been taking our dogs to Brecksville Animal Hospital since Dr. Perdue took over the practice. We love her and her staff. I have to also disagree with the review that she is only out for money. She and her staff love our dogs. When we took our Doberman in last year with what we thought was a cold, she diagnosed him with heart failure. She called the emergency clinic that instant and got us in to the specialist within half an hour. We choose to spend thousands of dollars to treat him even though he only lasted another 3 months. That was our choice to spend the money as it was with the negative reviewer. She did not tell us one way or another what we should have done except when we asked for her opinion. When our Doberman did pass, her clinic sent us a sympathy card and donated money in his name to an animal welfare agency. We couldn't be happier with the staff and their compassion towards our dogs.

I 100% disagree with the last post. Ive been to several veterinarians in the past and Dr. Perdue is AMAZING. She is beyond compassionate and is in no way only out for money. She even called in medication for my cat to giant eagle bc it is free there, where she could have charged me for it at her hospital. Dr. Perdue and Steve have always been very nice to me and my cats, they have seen my cat for an emergency and saved his life. I am forever grateful for them and their wonderful staff, all of which are very friendly, they treat me like i am family there and always seem happy to see me and my cats. The receptionist is very sweet and comforting when i almost lost my cat. Thank you to everyone at Brecksville animal hospital, i have found a vet for life!

I've left a review for Brecksville Animal Hospital and Dr Perdue elsewhere, but felt compelled to leave one here. I have never had a veterinarian who cared so much about our pets. She handles them gingerly gaining their confidence and they aren't nearly as traumatized going to the Vet's office. You can see the enjoyment she gets from animals in her smile and the hurt in her eyes when they aren't doing so well. Never had a billing issue and never had a service issue. Our 3 cats are in good health and Dr Perdue is happy to endulge my tendencies for playing Dr Google. She was a quick study of learning the special needs for our hybrid cat as well as instrumental in helping us meet his dietary needs. We too make a 40 minute drive to get there with 3 other larger staff vet's offices within 5 minutes of our home. We won't be going elsewhere as our pets deserve the best care we can give them and that's exactly what Dr Perdue delivers.
