I recently took my dog to Tremont Animal Clinic for an ear infection. A friend told me about a great vet there, a guy known in the area as Dr. Bob. He was booked when I called, but I was able to get an appointment with with Dr. Katie. Dr. Katie was super nice and efficient. She listened patiently, checked Henry out lovingly, and gave me an ear ointment that cured his infection in a few days. The staff even called me two days later to ask how he was doing; not even my human doctor's office does that. All the staff at the clinic seemed kind and professional. And while the building is nothing much from the outside - looks small and cramped between two other businesses - inside it's bright, colorful, and filled with stunning artwork (Cleveland landscapes and pets lounging in Cleveland landmarks). My only complaint about the clinic is the uneven gravel parking lot. But that's a small price to pay for great care and service. Thanks Dr. Katie for making Henry better!
Best vet experience i have ever had. Dr. Katie was so kind and the clinical assistant as well. they were very passionate about my two dogs and it really made my dogs relax and feel safe. they are usually very scared at the vet and resist them -- but not here. the doctors and staff are wonderful and the prices are unbeatable. i am so happy that i made the switch to tremont animal clinic and recommend all my friends and family to them!
took my kitten in for a broken tail she was misdiagnosed with just an infection on her tail gave her antibiotics and pain killers costing me $85, when i later found out her tail was actually broken, they said to bring her back pay for another check up and pay for what ever she may need done to fix the broken tail, at full price even though i paid for nothing already, they couldn't even find it in themselves to work with me on the cost like payment plans, would never go back here again.
Always great service and a very friendly, helpful and inviting staff!
Owning a pet, I've come to find out, is a lot like being a parent. As a first time dog owner (and long time cat owner) and mother of four, I have become very protective of my pets. Tremont Animal Clinic made the experience of taking my pets to the vet comfortable for all of us. Pros- *Lots of places in Tremont are a pain to park near. I don't mind a walk, but with a dog on a leash and a cat in a carrier, I appreciated the convenience. Thankfully, there is a parking lot directly behind the building with a back door leading right to the lobby. *The clinic itself is in a lovely old brick building, but new as can be on the inside. Its clear they put a lot of thought into the inside. I'm an art teacher so I like the colorful walls and funky Cleveland artwork on the inside. *I waited for a few minutes in the lobby, then was led into a sunny exam room with big windows overlooking W. 14th street. My two youngest kids had come along and had a great time watching the traffic go by. *Great staff all around- I had Dr. Sara, who was literally on the floor cuddling with my dog, Jiggs while she did the exam. He got 4 shots and a rectal exam and he thought he was having a play date with some cute lady instead. Its comforting to see how much the staff really likes animals here. *The best part was when I received an email the next day with a summary of the visit and copies of the vaccinations they had gotten. Its nice to know that if I need to show his rabies vaccine certificate, for example, I don't have to hunt through my "important" stack of papers under the bed. Cons: * The parking lot is a little small and gravel. The day I went there were mountains of snow from the most recent snowmageddon which resulted in even fewer parking spots. But I squeezed in and had no more than 25 steps from my car to the door. Not too bad for Tremont. * A bit far for me (I actually live on the far East side) but had heard from a friend that these guys were great and the clinic was easy to get to right off the highway. Its right up the hill from Steelyard Commons and the stores beckoned me, but I had critters in the car so I drove on home.
