I took my dog, Sprite, to Clintonville Animal Hospital for years. I love the staff there and so does Sprite. I've never seen a dog so happy to enter a veterinary hospital. Sprite literally "explodes" into the waiting room. The two doctors I see most often there are Dr. Daniel Monfort or his wife Christine. Both are very good with my dog. I have to admit if I'm seeing Dr. Dan we tend to chat a lot because of some common interests. I like them both very much and endorse the Clintonville Animal Clinic after many years of being a customer there. Veterinarians can be just like any other medical professional. Either you really like them or you look elsewhere. I hated leaving Columbus when I recently moved to Cincinnati because Sprite and I enjoyed every visit regardless of which doctor treated her.

Last year, our dog needed emergency surgery and Dr. Dan performed the surgery after hours and stayed up with our dog overnight to comfort him. It also saved us a lot of money versus going to an ER to have the surgery performed. Even though we moved out of the area, we continue to take our dog to Clintonville in order to have Dr. Dan treat him.

Amazing vets and staff. Exemplary treatment and knowledge of cats both sick and well.

I took my cat to this vet and they were very cruel to my pet. They were so rough with my cat that my cat had cuts on the back of her neck where the woman dug her nails into her neck. Granted- my cat isn't the easiest cat in the world to deal with. However, it is their job and responsibility to give my cat the best treatment they can provide. I will never take my cat back there. I felt so horrible for my pet. Also- not only was the staff horrible to my pet they were rude and short with me. I would never recommend this vet to anyone- unless they want their pet to come home with scabs.

A friend recently discovered a newborn kitten and her dead siblings in a rainstorm. I have been trying very hard to keep the newborn kitten alive and in good health. This would not have been possible without this clinic. Chris and her technicians are passionate about animals. During a particular crisis with the kitten Chris was on vacation and still helped me meet up with a technician after hours! I find their prices very reasonable and owe them so much for all of their help.
