We moved into Columbus from Texas about an year ago. Our dogs have been in the care of another Vet. We however have been using the services of this animal hospital for boarding our 2 dogs whenever we needed to travel out of town. One of our dogs is diabetic and partially blind. We have never felt safe to leave our dogs in any other facility, seeing the manner in which the Doctor and the staff at this facility take care of our pets. Once our little diabetic dog refused to eat his regular food, and the doctor brought in some home-cooked chicken, and he began to eat. Recently my diabetic dog developed some serious complications overnight and he was intermittently bringing out bloody stools. He got so weak and in distress that we thought we would lose him. Since his regular vet was out on that day, we managed to get him to Dr. Anne Dufus at Whitehall Hospital. She was quick in getting him admitted and aggressively containing his situation with antibiotics and fluids. He came back fully recovered in less than 24 hrs of stay with them. The techs were all very compassionate in caring for him. This was like a miracle for our poor guy, and we are indeed indebted to Dr. Anne and her team ( especially Chrissy) for saving him. This is the least we can do to express our gratitude and also hope that this will help save the lives of many more pets.
