First, they were very nice. My dog got sick over Christmas and we didn't know what was wrong. They got me in right away. We went in and the vet spent about 10 minutes with us, examined him and then left. The tech came in about 20 minutes later saying that we needed to do $300 worth of blood work, x-rays and we'd "start there." We opted to see if he would bounce back on his own. I did some research on my own and found out that all of his symptoms were indicative of diabetes. They never mentioned that. We took him to another vet and found out that yes, he was in fact VERY diabetic. I find it difficult to understand how, given his symptoms, that Banfield never mentioned it as a possibility. They didn't even offer to do a urine test (which would have told us). I won't go back.
