I started using Dixie Veterinary Clinic about 18 months ago when the vet I had been using for 18 years unexpectedly retired. I wanted a vet that put the care of the animals first and money second. I have worked at a local shelter and I foster for a few rescues so I have had experience with a lot of vets, with some of them it was like taking my animals to a high pressure salesman. After 18 months of normal vet visits we had a serious issue with one of our dogs, the level of care he received and the commitment to healing him the staff showed was absolutely AMAZING to say the least. They truly saved my friends life and there was never a feeling that money was their motivation, it fact it was the exact opposite. I cannot say enough positive things about Dixie Veterinary Clinic. A caring and compassionate staff, including the front office. Wonderful doctors. Dr. Betts especially was wonderful helping me care for my elderly cat, and just as wonderful with the two young cats I adopted. I can always get in for an appointment and never have to wait. The office is clean and welcoming. The rates are very good. I will never take my animals anywhere else as long as Dixie Veterinary Clinic is open.

Everyone in the clinic is VERY nice and GENUINELY care about your pet. Dr. Thorn was EXTREMELY thorough and took the necessary time to explain all that he found and all that he was going to do in the way of treatment. Normally, extensive time with the doctor, several meds and special foods to help with an allergy would cost a fortune...not here! Everything was very reasonably priced! If you love your pet like a family member and want the best for them, Dr. Thorn and the ladies at Dixie Vet Clinic are your people!!!

They are extremely friendly, and compassionate about the care of our pets. Wouldn't even think of going anywhere else.
