I am completely disheartened by my last experience. While they did get me in immediately due to my dog dying, the vet was nice...the tech came in about 4 times for me to sign papers about payment, Xrays, Euth, etc. I felt that she was 'cold'. He died of internal bleeding at 13.5 years old. I am thankful that I was able to bury my dog but what is upsetting is that the paw print and hair clippings that they charged me for ($30) never arrived. It is now 3 weeks and I called 4 times about it. The last call that I made was 'We shipped it' but they have no tracking number, no way for me to find the last memories of my pet and I paid for it and am just out of luck. They did not offer to credit my account, look into it any further, etc. I wonder what would have happened if I had him cremated. I would imagine his ashes would never be returned to me as they would have lost them as well (no tracking info available)...... I feel sick about the whole situation and will take my other 2 dogs to MedVet and pay the 3X additional for the same service but have piece of mind. MetVet is more friendly, faster but you pay for that..... They are great if you are on a budget but I cannot bare to go there again.

Do not take your pets to this place! They don't have a clue on how to treat an animal! I don't know how they can call themselves a veterinarian! Did they get their degree from a cracker jack box! I took my kitten in to see the vet because he was ill. And come to find out he had low blood sugar and his glucose number was 25 when it should have been 90 and the doctor couldn't even tell me why that was she kept saying there must be something genetic. Nothing like we can administer dextrose to bring his blood sugar and number up! No, she never mention anything like that you would think that is what should have happen but no she didn't have a clue what was going on with the animal except what I mention about it being genetics. And that I should put him too sleep. And plus they made sure to bombard me with all their of prices! One nurse came out and said that there is a 65 dollar charge to do CPR if he were to crash and ask me if I except the fee. Of course I said yes what was I suppose say. They got you hanging on a hook feeding off your emotions.And speaking about emotions they didn't show any, No compassion No empathy. They seem too be more concern about making money than saving an animals life! The doctor had me convince that my kitten had no chance of surviving. She kept making up all these assumptions that there's a chance that he might not pull through. But she never once said that there's a chance he might make it. So that made me think that he didn't have prayer so I had to make the decision to put him down. So I walked out without that poor innocent kitten. If only I was in the right state of mind I wouldn't have allowed her to do that. But I thought I was doing what was best for the kitten until I got home and did some research and found out that my kitten didn't have any cause for putting him down. I put in the symptoms that he had and it said that he was malnourished. He had low body weight and wasn't gaining weight. And that was because I got him from a litter and he was weaned too soon and the food he was eating his body wasn't digesting it properly. Which made him very ill. But what I don't understand is why this doctor didn't see that! I will forever regret my decision bringing him to that place! Oh and while I was in tears of losing my kitten and the thought of not being able to see him again they had the nerve to ask me if I want to put him in a box and have it engraved and that they would go and get the prices for me! How absurd! Never again will I bring an animal of mine here!

I would never ever recommend this place for anyones pet. They are unprofessional on the phone and have no customer service etiquette whatsoever. Even if you make an appointment, you will end up being there for over an hour. I tried giving them my service 2x and both times it was terrible. I'm not even going to mention that the lady at the desk had no clue about the services offered there. She said "I just work as a receptionist." Apparently working as a receptionist at an animal hospital waives your common sense and ability to learn of the services provided by your employer. This place is a money factory line. Get in and get out.

We have been going to rascal for about 6 years now, but the quality of service has declined drastically in recent years. Their vets have made mistakes (by their own admission) and careless ones at that (my words, no theirs). These have led to unnecessary cost and suffering of my dog. Their customer service has been pretty bad for the past two years. They have always been unresponsive and uncaring but in the past two years (.approx) they have seemed fully incompetent and actually rude. I have worked customer service for a long time and I'm willing to dismiss the occasional bad experience because people have bad days and people make mistakes. We kept going because the cost was low but today was the final straw. We waited in the lobby for over an hour for a test that takes less than one minute while multiple other customers that had arrived after us were served before. This is only one in a long string of rudeness\incompetence. I used to recommend this vet to people, but will never again. Looking for a new vet now. Also, generally, you will have a long wait regardless of what time it is or if there is anyone else waiting. Be prepared for 2+ hours... The lower cost clearly results in an inferior service and an inferior quality.

This place makes the BMV look like the promise land. I will never bring another pet here no matter how much money I would save. The staff is rude and the wait for a walk in is worse than the ER.
