I had taken one of our barn cats in for an annual checkup and some routine vaccinations. Even though there was a horribly obnoxious dog screaming and carrying on in the lobby, I was checked in and got to see the vet extremely quickly in consideration of the volume inside the clinic. The poor kitty had some sort of heart murmur (to her best guess) and he was being examined on the table. The whole time he was purring and checking everything out, not to mention the Vet was incredibly nice and inviting. All of a sudden he seized and almost fell off the table (strangest thing I've ever seen) but she hadn't done a single thing treatment wise yet so I was shocked that this was happening. She was very fast to react and take him to the back to try to save his little kitty life. Poor Gilbert didn't make it through his ordeal, but the staff was so helpful and sympathetic to the odd situation. I will strongly consider bringing my future pets here!!

Dr. Mandi Maimone is a skilled, warm, thorough, intelligent veterinarian who is wonderful with my dog. She diagnosed problems that OSU and my former vet missed. I highly recommend the Animal Medical Center and will never go anyplace else again. I recommend them for soft tissue surgeries, dental work and general prevention medicine.

I have taken my two Labs to Animal Medical Center for about two years and find them to be informed and accommodating. I initially started going due to their convenient location in Gahanna but would now travel across town if need be to take my two guys there. The staff is well informed and patient with my multitude of questions. I seldom have to wait more than a few minutes wrestling with my dogs in the lobby. All in all I would recommend Animal Medical Center to anyone who wanted attentive and informed care for their pet.

I took my 6 month old kitten into this practice because they supposedly performed laser declaw surgery. My kitten was given to me after her surgery by a receptionist with an ill fitting e collar that I was charged for twice on my bill. The receptionist wanted to credit my next visit instead of refunding my money. Because the e collar didn't fit properly,my kitten was constantly licking her paws. When I took her back to the practice for a post op checkup I WAS TOLD THAT THERE WOULD BE AN ADDITIONAL FEE IF I WENT WITH MY PET TO SEE THE VET. Mutchler supposedly examined her, charged me $68. NEVER SAW ANY OF THE DOCTORS THERE. The next day took my kitten into a better vet to find her paws were full of pus. My kitten had to then have her paws opened up again to drain the pus and then sewn back up. This cost me an additional $700 in vet bills. I will never return to this practice and I would advise people to go elsewhere in hiring a vet. Poor service, greedy, incompetent staff. No one will speak to you except the staff you're NOT able to talk to a doctor without paying an added fee...I don't need that greed in my life. They are out for the money not the welfare of your pet.

The vets are understanding and the seem like they really care about your pet. My dog is always anxious and scared of the vet. They are understanding about her anxiety. I wouldn't take her anywhere else.
