Incredibly caring. He did everything he could to save our sweet boxer girl. It was so sad losing her despite the attempts to save her. We appreciated he the time he took with us.
We have had several vet emergencies in the middle of the night and Dr John McCullough at West Central was available for us every time. Kind caring service every time. Dr John is one of the finest veterinarians that we have had. I trust him with my pets. Hes kind and professional at the same time. This man loves animals and it shows. Without a doubt, hes the vet to see if your pet is in trouble. We have many friends that we have sent there and all are very pleased with the level of care that you get from this clinic. You are given an estimate of costs up front which I have found to be extremely reasonable for the services that these folks provide. As to the prevoius negative review, there are hardly any vets that run charge accounts in these times, out alone an emergency service. Theres alot of happy pet owners out there thanks to West Central. They save lives. You cant put a price on what these folks have to offer. Julie Recker
I have not gone to the office yet, but I did just call and I know from calling this will be my #1 choice to go to. The woman I spoke to answered all my questions, gave me various options and was patient and kind. Sadly I may have to go into the office tonight or tomorrow if my puppy does not get better but I know he will be in good, caring hands.
Unfortunately, I've had to visit the emergency vet service several times with my various pets. However, I always found the staff to be be great and was very relieved to have a service like this available in the area since getting after hours care from a traditional veterinary office isn't always possible. For the other reviewer that did not like that some payment was required at the time of service, it is true they are not running a charity. As a owner of multiple pets, I always make sure to keep funds set aside for emergency care as it can get expensive. I know from my visits they also had pamphlets on CareCredit financing for people that needed it. Compared to charges be other emergency vet services, they are actually very reasonable.
This is a terrible place to take your animal. They do not care about animals at all, just about all the money they can get from you. My beloved pet dog all of a sudden got very sick today and since all the vets were closed because of the weekend, this was the only place that was open that I could go to. However, they wouldn't even look at her unless I paid $65 on the spot. I didn't have any money at the moment and asked them if they could bill me later or if I could pay in payments. They then got extremely rude with me and told me that they needed the money on the spot and that they don't run a charity service and that they are in the business of making money. Aren't vets supposed to be in the business of taking care of animals and making sure people's loving pets are treated and taking care of? That's what I thought. If I went to a doctor, I would surely hope that he wasn't only in the business of making money, I would hope that he's in the business of making sure I get better and healthy again. From one animal lover to another, I recommend to NOT take your pets to this place. They are just greedy, heartless pigs that do not care about animals at all.
