Dr. Jackson and the VCA Midpark Animal Hospital staff are very friendly and caring. We've taken our dog there for over 3 years and love it. They are very thorough in explaining possible issues and suggesting necessary steps. Our dog is epileptic and Dr. Jackson has worked with us to get the right medicine combination and dosage. They are aware of our financial budget and give us a range of options based on need and price. We even get a discount because we adopted our dog from a shelter. I highly recommend this animal hospital.

Wow! I adopted a cat from here and the poor thing ended up sick about a year and a half later. Unfortunately we fell into hard times and tried to see if they could help. Nope - they referred me to a different clinic (one that is less expensive!). They wouldn't price match and told us that the visit itself was a certain amount...not including tests or medications. Sure they are nice and friendly, but when push comes to shove it is all about profit!

We have taken our cats to VCA Midpark for years and have always been treated very well. I don't know how someone can say that stuff about Dr. Jackson - he is the most kind and caring vet I have ever found. I just love him. He even refunded $300+ of our money for tests on our cat that had cancer because the tests didn't show anything. No other vet would do that. When we finally had to put our precious cat to sleep, Dr. Jackson had tears in his eyes. Sure, there are cheaper places to take your animals, but VCA has to charge more because they are a corporation, so it's not the vet's fault. Although, I agree, they should not turn animals away when they are really sick or dying and they should have more evening hours, they are still a good animal hospital with a friendly and caring staff. And I have known Dr. Jackson for years and he is very ethical, so before you put him down and say he was disciplined, find out the exact circumstances. Don't judge people unless you know the full story. I will continue to go there and trust Dr. Jackson. He has done well for me in the past.
