Top notch medical care for your pet in a clean, professional medical facility. They did a great job when my dog got hit by a car. It was a bit pricey, but that had far more to do with how much medical treatment my dog needed and little to do with their pricing which seems fair... inexpensive even.
I use to go to a vet in Galion which is closer to me and decided to switch because AMC of Ontario has way more to offer than the previous vet (not bashing them, they were great but didn't fit my needs.) and everyone from the receptionist to the practice manager have such great personalities and are really all personable. My dog gets all the attention he needs when he is there. Doggy daycare and boarding are really great options for travelers or those who work and don't want to leave their pets alone, for a little extra you can get one on one time with any of the techs. They offer training as well and my dog has learned so much from it.
My wife and I have used all four aspects of Animal Medical Center of Ontario. Our dogs are regular attendees at Doggie Day Care and always look forward to coming back. We sometimes put them in boarding and are able to leave town with the knowledge that they are well cared for and happy. We use AMC for routine medical care, and have also had to contact them in medical emergencies. The doctors and staff have always been caring and professional. We now recommended AMC to to others for all of these services and are comfortable that our recommendations turn out to be good advice.
We had a dog doing a lot of vomiting in a short period of time, on a Sunday evening, around 8PM. Dr Muehler was with his children at a church event practice and since we had the great advantage of receiving his cell phone, we were able to contact him and as soon as he was able to get back in town, we met him at the office with our sick dog, Sunday evening! His children still with him! in the winter! Now, that's a wonderful, caring physician to have for your "best friends' care"! (Of course,
I'm not a regular client here but I just had to say how great my experience was with the Animal Medical Center of Ontario. My boyfriend and I were in Mansfield, for Saturday only, during the Tough Mudder and we needed a doggy day care for our Chug, Walter. To make a long story short, we took Walter to doggy daycare on Saturday. At the last minute our race time was pushed back and we were scrambling to make it there in time to pick him up. To our relief, the woman we had originally booked the daycare with went out of her way to make sure we were able to pick up Walter and not have to stay an extra night in order to pick him up on Sunday. When my boyfriend arrived she was sitting with Walter on her lap and he looked so content and happy. She went above and beyond to help us out even though we aren't regular clients and don't even live in the area. That says a lot about the level of care this place provides and if I did live in town you can bet Walter would be one of their patients. Thank you so much Animal Medical Center of Ontario!
