What a terrible experience. I first called and spoke with a receptionist who could not answer any questions. I was then given to another receptionist who could not answer any questions. I then spoke to the Dr who was very helpful and insightful. He provided me with the costs and based on his pricing and helpfulness I decided to use him over several others I contacted. We arrived and the facility was very nice, the receptionist was very polite and professional. We went in for our exam and she explained everything and was great. The Dr came in and decided to explain everything to us a second time. Meanwhile the receptionist was preparing our bill for the services we were expecting to receive, but the more the Dr spoke the more you could see he was trying to upsell every product known to man. Shampoos, toothpaste, services, shots, prevention, ect ect. I felt like I was at the 10 min oil change being upsold a $10 air filter they were charging $90 to have installed. The bill comes in and no services were done yet. I see the bill was 70% higher than what the Dr had quoted me on the phone. It included various services that were never discussed and treatments for things that were never tested for. I asked why he would charge for services when he had not done the test to see if they were needed. He replied with a very snide rude type of reply. I asked a few more questions and each time was met with his rude replies, like, how dare I question him. Finally I asked if he could allow me to finish my sentence without being cut off and he did allow me. Once done he replied with, our you finished. I laughed and said yes, and that we were leaving. The Dr was doing nothing more than a classic bait and switch and did not take kindly to being asked questions about the pricing he raised 70% higher than what was quoted. Very rude and unprofessional. Oh, and I almost forgot that he sat in a small room off our exam room for 20 minutes chatting to his wife while we sat in the exam room waiting. I guess he didnt know we were sitting right there listening to his shopping list discussion.
Both the doctor and staff treat you pets as if they were your children (which they are.) Great Doctor and Staff!
