Our dog, Tucker, passed away Friday, August 31, 2012 and would have been 3 the end of September. He had been throwing up since Wednesday and Thursday morning he never went potty again. I contacted Adamson Veterinary Services, as he has been seen there for 3 years now. Explained to them what happened and what was going on with him. They told me approximately the costs with visit, x-rays, and blood tests for testing toxin levels. Explained to them my boy friend was out of town and would be able to pay them when he came back next week. Was told payment is due at time of service or to apply for the CareCredit and said that wouldn't work. Needless to say, Tucker suffered a horrible way; dehydrating, not holding anything down and this place would not help him at all but could have. How inhumane is that, to let a poor innocent animal suffer like that when maybe they could have saved his life, and got paid the following week. Evidently, it's all about money and not the pet. I could understand if our dog had not been a patient and they did not know us. So, please tell me, how can this statement be put on your home page: "We pride ourselves on offering gentle loving care as well as support to you and your furry friends. We also are always looking to exceed your expectations along with provide the best care we possibly can." If you're short on funds, please seek some other vet who is willing to help your furry friend and work with you or let you pay them in a week.
