I am a local and have used the Vandalia Pet Veterinary Clinic many times to board my cat, but not anymore. If you pick up your animal after 3pm, then you are charged an extra day. Knowing this, when dropping off my cat, I explained that I might not be able to make the 3pm deadline since my flight would not get in until 2.30pm. I stated that it is highly likely that I will be a few minutes late and was told that would not be a problem. Well, as I suspected, I did not make it until 3.20pm (20 min late). To my surprise the attendant (same one that checked us in) charged us an extra day. She said that if I had been 2 min late, then she would make an exception, but not for 20 min. She could at least have offered to only charge us for a half day. Up until that point, I had been a loyal customer, but not anymore. The place is clean, but really lacks in customer service. Don't expect ANY special treatment.

Great Practice

They are very unprofesional. They don't know what they are doing. I called & wanted to set up an appointment with them through the petland warranty & because I didn't want them to be my "full time" vet they told me I would have to pay for it. I paid for the warranty it cost for close to $5000 so they are going to have a law suit on there hands. I would never go there or tell anyone to go there. They are all very rude & don't care about anyones animals. I will not put my dogs in danger by going to them. So I guess no one should by dogs or cats from Petland in Huber Heights because you have to go to their crappy vet.
