very unprofessional couldn't give me straight answers on prices.was trying to tell me I need meds to take home after my dog gets spayed when animals rarely get sent home with meds after that. Also tried to tell me it's ok for my dog to go more then 24 hours with out food while she stays the night there. it seems to me that they're more concerned about how much money they can make off you by adding on things you don't need but also wouldn't know about unless you do research and don't really care about the well being of your animal

Our cat disappeared earlier this week, and when he returned 2 days later he went into hiding, and we assumed he had been spooked by something and just needed time to recover. By Saturday, we realized there must be something wrong and discovered he had a wound and was running a fever. Our regular vet was already closed, but Detroit Dover Animal Hospital was able to fit us in last minute so he could get checked out and get some antibiotics. By Saturday afternoon he was noticeably feeling better, and today he is able to get up and move around much easier. I am so grateful that they were able to see us on such short notice, and everyone was very nice and professional. The office was clean and has these fantastic paintings all over the walls. A very welcoming environment.

Dr. Feeney takes excellent care of my senior cat, Smokey. She always takes the time to explain what is wrong or could possibly be wrong with my cat. A.J. Is also very helpful and knowledgable about diagnoses and procedures Thanks to all the staff at Detroit Dover animal hospital for always being kind and efficient.

I took my cat here because she was leaking urine. Dr. Skebe listened to her heart and decided that my cats anal glands were impacted. Two weeks later I had to put my cat down because she had bladder cancer and got worse to the point she couldn't even walk. Dr. Skebe dismissed my cat and did nothing for her. When an owner comes in with an emergency case you should at least do a full physical, a thorough physical, and she did not. The vet dismissed me as well and treated me like I was incompetent and had no idea what I was talking about. And they charged me an arm and a leg as well the pricing was out rageous. Dr. Skebe will never see another one of my animals again.
