Great compassionate team...worth driving a bit further

Dr. Solwitz is terrific! His care and expertise improved the health of my cat tremendously. Mr. Boots had a problem with chronic constipation. The previous vet that I used was stuck on a treatment that really wasn't helping. Dr. Solwitz recommended a new medication that made all the difference. Dr. Solwitz is very knowledgeable and truly cares about animals. The office staff at Willow Run is friendly and helpful. I always get a phone call after a visit to see how my cat is doing. I highly recommend Dr. Solwitz and Willow Run Veterinary Clinic!

Not a spectacular experience with this vet. First let me say that all of the office staff are very nice and pleasure to work with. But Dr. Richard (aka Dr. Dick) has zero personality and I swear must have found his vet certificate in a gumball machine. I told him our dog was allergic to the Cipro antibiotic he prescribed......he stated he "never heard of that before" and it must be a bee sting. Um, Cipro allergies are common doc, even in humans...try Googling it sometime. Speaking of Googling, I found more info and probable causes on the internet based on our pet's symptoms then this guy could provide. The final straw: he misdiagnosed a condition for our pet, then later stated he "has no idea what this is". We then took our pet to another vet and the condition was diagnosed and treated the same day.

Dr. Solwitz is the nicest vet we have ever taken our dog to. I get the feeling that he genuinely cares. He is very honest and knowledgeable. Our family and our dog Corey thank you:)
