This past Saturday, Sept. 13, our 15 year old wire-fox terrier, Haley, had a stroke and collapsed, partially paralyzed. We rushed her to Dr. Randall, thinking she would suggest immediate euthanazia. Instead, Dr. Randall and her staff started treating Haley immediately, doing blood work up, giving Haley cortisone, etc., trying to help revive her. Over the next 24 hours, Dr. Randall came into the clinic way after hours to check on Haley, and on Sunday morning, at ~9:00 am, 24 hours after the event, she called to say there was no change. She waited on me to drive to the clinic, and she was much more sympathetic and caring than the MDs who were at my mother's bedside when she passed August, last. While I held Haley, she discretely administered the shot that helped her pass over that Rainbow Bridge, and she and her staff took charge of the details to get Haley cremated and her ashes returned. I could hear her crying herself as she gave Haley the shot. I can not say enough great things about Worthington Woods, and particularly Dr. Randall. She has been our vet for our animals for a number of years, and now, as we are already trying to adopt a rescue Airedale, she will be our vet for many more.
