I wish I could give a lower score than poor-fair. I have just moved to the area and hadn't found a vet for my animals yet. They're healthy and utd on everything. Well my dog had been losing patches of fur and I was pretty sure it was just allergies/skin irritation but I wanted a second opinion. I called to make an appt and the lady I talked to was very nice (I told her that his skin was irritated, dry and scabbing and this wasn't normal shedding.) and they got me in the next day! ...Well, that's where the good stops. I got there and they put us in what I guess they would call an exam room. It was barely large enough to be called a room then was divided by a half wall so that you could see and hear the patient right next to you which makes me very uncomfortable let alone how it could bother other people and their pets. A nurse comes in to take my dog's temp and comments on his whining. Well yes, he's whining, he's a nine month old puppy and is all riled up because you have two cats running loose in your office and he wants to play with them. (so good luck bringing your dog there if they have any kind of prey drive). Finally the doctor comes in and the first thing he says to me in his rude, condescending tone is, "Well you know huskies shed and that's normal, so it could just be that." Umm... Excuse me? I've had huskies my whole life and never has any one of them "shed" like this. Plus I've worked at numerous kennels and vets offices and this isn't normal. I patiently explain this to him and he says "Well I guess I should take a look then if you're sure it's not just his natural shedding." Yes, you should. That is what I'm here paying you for. He looks at it says it's some skin irritation like I thought and that he'll give him a shot and give us some pills to take home to speed up the healing process. Cool. Oh wait, we're not done. We then got rudely lectured on not having neutered our dog yet. I once again calmly explained, I know the health risks and to me it's not worth it to get him neutered, especially because we're trying to show him and breed him. He continues to lecture me as if he didn't hear a thing I just said and is getting ruder and ruder with his tone as he goes along to the point that when I looked down because my dog started moving around he said, "I need your eye contact to know that you are actually listening to me because you've been extremely lax with how you're raising this dog." Then asks if we've taken him to obedience school. I say no and explain that we have had him since he was 8 weeks old and have spent ample amount of time with him and that I am an actual certified dog trainer and he is an extremely well behaved dog everywhere we go, he's just excited about the two cats running around. I then proceeded to get lectured on the importance of obedience school telling me that my dog really needs it. I'm floored now. Seriously about to walk out, but I know my dog needs the medical attention so I stay for him. He gives my dog the shot and man handles him as if he was struggling and biting at them when he was standing perfectly still, he actually yelped because the nurse yanked his head so hard for no reason! Then he tells me that my dog probably doesn't need either the shot or pills and it most likely would've healed up on it's own. THEN WHY DID YOU GIVE MY DOG THE SHOT AND PILLS?! Later, I get home and my dog won't put any weight on the leg where he administered the shot. I wasn't too concerned. Well, this went on for several days. I looked up the shot that he gave my dog because it sounded familiar. Well low and behold he gave my dog a shot (and pills) that can actually cause poor blood circulation to their limbs causing them to constantly have that "asleep" feeling and can lead to serious health problems such as total loss of the feeling of their limbs and muscle atrophy and that 99% of the vets out there will never use it because of the risks it poses. Luckily my dog is okay now, but I will never return there, no matter how dire the situation.

I can not thank this office enough! I had an extremely sick puppy and I called 8 different vets to try and get him an appointment and everyone said they were booked and it would be an additional fee to get him in. Some of upwards of a 100 bucks! Finally I called Dr. Allen and explain my situation and they said bring him right in. I was so grateful someone was willing to help me! The staff was so friendly, Dr. Allen was wonderful and if it wasnt for them my beloved puppy would have died. I can not thank them enough! I recommend this office 100%!!

Did not follow protocol for veterinarians to euthanize my pet. Instead of sedating my cat first he trued sticking the needle in an already dehydrated arm 4-5 times and could not find the vein. Meanwhile my cat of 17 and a half years was screaming and trying to pull her arm away when her last minutes on earth should have been painless. An assistant tried to hold the arm but could not. Finally the doctor said looks like I am going to have to sedate her first. After he injected her with the sedative she just collapsed into a sedate condition where he could insert the needle easily. I was heart breaking for me to watch this and i have no idea why he did not follow procedure as recommended by all Google sites i have read after the euthanasia had occurred. I blame myself for not being more educated on protocol as i would have asked questions about his methods before hand. This is not the first time I had problems with this office. I would recommend not going to this veterinarian, I believe he has too many things on his plate, such as a weekly TV show, book writing, running for President, and the military reserves. If you are reading this doctor, i recommend you concentrate on your primary vocation of caring for animals.
