Dr. Coldiron has taken great care of our dog for many years. He and his staff do an excellent job and are always warm and welcoming. They helped nurse our little dachshund back to health after he was hit by a car. We are forever grateful!

Our dogs are like our children and Dr. Coldiron treats them the same. Even when our dogs are getting their shots, Dr. Coldiron ensures we have plenty of treats to keep them busy. If you are looking for a new Vet, I recommend Dr. Coldiron with Stoneridge Animal Hospital.

Horrible experience. We used this vet for years then suddenly had a really bad outcome. Our dog had a collapsing trachea. One of the Vets (not Dr. Coldiron) asked my wife to get a 1200 dollar heart diagnostic and I told my wife no. Simply because we just didn't have 1200 dollars to pay for such a test only to find out the dog has heart disease. I visited with her and explained this and she said she could do an x-ray which we were more than happy to do which is what diagnosed the dog with the trachea problem. Long story short after weeks of treating our dog with the meds that they prescribed, they ran out. Yes.. THEY RAN OUT. Once the dog skips a dose it immediately coughs up foam and blood and starts dying. Of course my kids and wife were distraught. They told my wife to come back the next day as it was overnighted. She did, but the meds still did not come. They told her to call back, which she did and they asked her to call back again which she did. After the second time I sent an email which i was going to ask Mr. Coldiron (because i did not like the first vet and my wife said Mr. Coldiron was the nicer, smarter doctor.) if he could send our paperwork over to another vet and see if they could give a temp dose or if the meds were human versions we could mathematically figure out the dosage for the dog. However I never got to ask this question. I had never spoken to Mr. Coldiron. My wife went to the office on the times they specified and she called the times they requested to check on the medicine. This is the email I sent and received. Was unbelievable. So much more to the story too. But I am tired of typing. His email shows his INSANE unprovoked anger and irrational behavior. -----his email response ------ There is nothing more to discuss with you regarding hydrocodone! Quite frankly, I didn't prescribe it and therefore I could lose my license if I refill it per the new regulations that took effect November 1, 2013. I was going to refill it for you, but it has to ship from DC. I WILL NOT write a script or call it in...period. If you would like to try another vets office, I will gladly send them your records. They will require seeing the dog and most likely won't give you any because you got it from us about two weeks ago. Sorry but I'm not losing my license for anyone! We will call when we get it in, but if this becomes an issue I will refuse to fill it in the future and I will give the bureau of narcotics and DEA your contact info so they can pay you a visit! Respectfully, ---------------- my original email to coldiron -------------------------- I would like to speak to DR. Coldiron. Not one of the assistants or other doctors please.

Dr. Coldiron and his staff are friendly professionals. They facility is clean and welcoming. I have taken my dog and cat there and have had nothing but positive experiences. They take the time to explain their diagnosis and take the time to answer any questions that we have had regarding the health of our animals.

Dr. Coldiron and his staff are absolutely wonderful...They have taken great care with every one of my animals. Any time one of my pets has needed care or if I have had questions about anything they have been there to answer my questions and care for my animals. Definitely one of the most caring and knoledgeable vets that I have ever taken my animals to. I would highly recommend Stoneridge and Dr. Coldiron to anyone looking for a great vet.
