This was the second time I used their services. Each time I must say, was a wonderful experience. Every one was pleasant and help. I was in and out in no time. The doctor's and staff were great.
Had a full physical done on my 11 year old buddy including blood work and all his shots plus had his nails clipped. Total bill was $118 and we were done in a little over thirty minutes plus they called with his blood work results 3 hours later. This same visit was over $400 last year in Overland Park and the blood work was delivered a day or so later. WE received great service from people who love animals. Couldn't be happier about the service and price.
Moved to Tulsa from just outside the city and I'd seen this office near my home and figured they would eventually be my vet for my very well maintained family Labrador. I stopped in to ask to buy his monthly flea pill and was told that I had to bring my dog in for an appointment in order to then be allowed to buy a flea pill. I'm a mature accomplished professional in (human) care who has been dealing with vets in OK for more than 30 years. I had never been denied a flea pill before by any vet. Consumer Reports asserts that the average veterinary markup on medicine is approximately 475%. Apparently thats not enough. A flea pill should not cost a fortune for a healthy dog with a documented medical history. Vets who are motivated entirely by profit -- to the point where they withhold something as silly as flea medicine until reaching a profit threshold -- are as bad as MDs who would do the same. No chance I'd bring any animal there. They were unsympathetic and unyielding. I would never trust that they have anything in mind except the bottom line. Those arent people I would permit near my children's pets! I don't want to expose them to those values in any event. Do what I do. Drive 15 minutes to any more rural suburb and see a vet. You will save 50-60% and receive care from docs who are in the business for the right reason.
The vets are very thorough here, I've never had to wait very long, and the staff are friendly. They are prone to additional services and suggesting more expensive brands, but honestly, what company doesn't do this? They aren't pushy about it. The most important thing is that they are compassionate veterinarians in a well maintained office.
