For things they can do in the office while you wait, they are ok, but below is our experience for when you can't get the results while you wait. Feb 7th took our dog in to Hecht Veterinary Hospital for a check because he was limping pretty badly. We were told that they had to send the x-rays to the radiologist and we would hear back in two weeks. Three weeks later I called and was told that the x-rays got lost and they would have to send copies to the radiologist and they would expedite the results. They apologized profusely and were "going to make this right for us". Now 6 weeks and 2 calls later, I am being told that they (not sure who they are) were backed up because of spring break, which was more than 2 weeks after my last call and "someone will call us in a couple of days" with the results. No call back from them again so we called on Friday the 28th of March and got a bunch of apologies and a promise to call the radiologist first thing Monday morning and call us back. Can't begin to express how frustrated and disappointed I am with this place.

Compassionate, helpful, educational, professional, friendly and reasonably priced. We will never go anywhere else!

My Husband had been taking His pets here for years before we meet. So i thought it i would give them a try. There is no over overwhelming smells. The staff is nice, friendly. they can be slow some times at the front desk. We used to live in the historic Brady Heights and they were convenient to get to. we now live in Broken Arrow and still go here.

This clinic had been a good place one or so I heard and I took my dog there, after waiting till after 5 pm in the lobby they finally examined him and found a serious infection in his leg prescribing antibiotics. While paying I learn that they didn't take credit card and asked if it was okay if I run across the street to the Quiktrip to use the ATM and if they'd let me back in so i could pay and pick up his medications, they agreed. I withdrew the money came back but even though I made eye contact with the same woman who had agreed to let me in to make the payment and several other employees they ignored me. It was a Saturday so my treatment options for my dog's leg were severely limited and i ended up wasting most of my day there only to have to take him to the Animal Emergency Center which was exponentially more expensive.

I have used the Hecht veterinary clinic for years. Imagine my surprise when I walked in sometime late in 2009 to find out he had retired. I was also surprised to find out his age. He deserved a rest ! He has sold it to a young group of vets who are awesome. The thing that always drove me to go to the clinic (even tho it is quite a distance from my home) was it's inexpensive rates AND kind treatment of my beloved pets. They have carried out that policy and kept the reputation of Hecht Veterinary clinic intact.
