Dr. Roddy Roberts is a tremendous vet with a true heart for what he does. He has always provided excellent care for our dogs, never pressuring us for extra or unnecessary treatments and always offering us excellent advice. He was incredibly warm and kind when my wife had to put her 13 yr old Westie to sleep. Their Kennels are clean and your pet will be well taken care of by their staff. Having been to many different Vets and Pet Boarding places around Tulsa, I'm perfectly happy driving 15 miles to River Trail Animal Hosptial every time.

First Kennel Experience for me and my wife - he had received his shots and bordatella before hand by our vet. When we picked him ( a 6 month old puppy ) from a 2 day trip. He peed on the floor when i got close to him and started shaking severely. He also continued to puke for 2 and 1/2 weeks after we had him back - erratically. It is because of what we experienced here, we will never use ANY kennel service ever again. He since then has now after 2 years finally recovered and no longer pees or cowers at the SIGHT of humans - we are still working on his fear of being touched by a stranger. Please do yourself a favor and don't come here.

We usually use Camp Bow Wow of Tulsa (which is amazing) but we waited too long to make an appointment and they were full (goes to show you how good they are) so I have driven by this place and looked great from the outside. I called to make an appointment to tour the facility & they said to come by anytime that day....we showed up around 2:30pm on a Sunday and they were closed....would have been nice to know that when I called that morning. We were in a pinch so we took our dog reluctantly. He was there for the weekend and when we picked him up they asked his name and the lady at the desk gave another person a number. Sad that no one there knew which one he was, they have to refer to the animals as numbers. At Camp Bow Wow when we walked in to pick hime up after his first visit they told us how great he was and even gave us a picture of hime as a first time camper. Everyone knew the dogs names and which ones they were. He was happier than ever to see us! (at Camp Bow Wow he hates seeing us cause that means he has to leave all his friends). As we went outside he pulled me across the parking lot to the grass and peed for 5 minutes....literally....it was like he hadn't been let out to pee all morning. He was a totally different dog for about 2 weeks. He was almost psychotic in a way. He eventually became his regular sweet loving chill self again but it was scary. I will NEVER take any of my animals ther EVER. You would think that having a hospital/vet right next door it would be the greatest place ever but that is false. A co-worker had the same experience about a week later....she will NEVER take her loved fur kid there either. Our dog is 120lbs and I woul drather put him in a kennel thatn make him go through what he did at River Trail. RIVER TRAIL PET LODGE IS THE WORST!

We take our dog there every time we leave town and she loves it. She used to hate getting boarded and now when we get there she practically jumps out the car!

What a great clinic! The staff was nice, friendly and willing to answer any question I had. When I walk in the door the place was clean and they checked me in right away. (didnt even wait 2 minutes) Ive taken my dogs to other clinics before, but this one by far is the best!
