We had to bring our very sick had into Woodland after hours and we saw Dr. Nancy Henslee. She did a very thorough examination and walked us through all of our options, which ended up having us hospitalizing our cat next door at Oklahoma Vet Specialists for 24 care. Dr. Henslee was amazing as she talked us through the probable diagnosis and prognosis. She also came by the next morning at OVS to check on us and we even received a hand written sympathy card after she had learned we had to put our cat to sleep. Highly recommend if you're in that part of town.

This place is not about the welfare of the animals, but rather about the money. Now, I understand that a business needs revenue to survive, but my daughter's experience is appalling. She took her dying, 4lb Maltese there yesterday. They turned her away due to an outstanding bill. They could clearly see he was in need of medical attention. They decided they would see him today if she would bring them $80. They made her take him with her, with him bleeding profusely. She took them the money only to be told they couldn't do anything for him due to his massive blood loss! Now, make up your own mind, but if you owe them any money, you might as well kill your pet yourself!

I normally do not submit reviews about businesses, but I had an awful experience at Woodland West Animal Hospital. I arrived at about 10:00 am because my pet cut its tail and she was not ready to be picked up until 6 pm. The bandage and tube they put on her came off the next day. They told me the cut would not bleed anymore, but later that night it started bleeding. I called them and they said I could bring her in again for another $35. I had already paid them $190! I asked why she was trying to lick her tail and they said she needs a cone on her head. I informed them they never told me that. They charged me for a cone and never gave me one or told me anything about one. I would not recommend taking your animals to this place.

Dr. Heinz and the staff were very professional and informative, as they have been in previous visits. I would not hesitate to recommend Woodland West Animal Hospital to anyone! In the event that we need veterinary services again, we will definitely be going back to Woodland West.

If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would. I was able to come in at the last minute because my dog got hurt, I was worried because i didn't see what he did to himself. The staff was amazing, helpful and the follow up call showed they cared. I was able to get the xrays that day to see if he broke anything but he didn't thank god. This will be my new vet for my dog, will refer him to people I know. Big-Big thanks to everyone at Woodland West!!!
