The previous review about Animal Medical Hospital is completely inaccurate. The prices quoted by the woman are totally incorrect. I have been a client for 20 years and have had many ultrasounds performed on my animals. The most recent was a few months ago. The cost was $169.75. As an existing client, I did not need an office visit. Had I been a new client, the cost for the office visit would have been an additional $39.75. It makes me upset that people can post such false, incorrect information on the web, but since there is no recourse, it is easy to do. I hope people will do their own research and not believe all the lies that appear on the web. Animal Medical is a terrific veterinary hospital and my animals are lucky to have such competent, knowledgeable veterinarians. You can always find cheaper prices, but quality usually suffers.

Extremely kind caring staff and Dr. Leann Alhbrecht continues to amaze me with her commitment to her patients. I have always found their prices fair and competitive, like most things, you get what you pay for and honestly I don't even look at the price tag when it comes to the care of my four footed family members, I look at the quality of care and it's hard to beat the folks at Animal Medical.

most expensive clinic in ashland - or that i have ever used, for that matter. having lived in NYC and SF, i was amazed at the rates i have been charged. $270 for an ultrasound that lasted 3 minutes: i have had ultrasounds lasting 20 minutes performed on my own children in-utero, and it has never cost more that $110 for the procedure. the $1500 estimate i was given for my dog's surgery and overnite stay were astronomical: i had the entire surgery and procedure performed at another local clinic for $200 (plus they threw in a free teeth cleaning)... they are kind but really ridiculously overpriced: who do they think they are?
