Nice staff but they throw everything at you so you spend more. They didn't even talk about the reason I came and by the time they kept trying to sell me all this other stuff I forgot why I even came in. Very over whelmed and spent more on something they made me feel I needed. I only give it 2 stars because the people were at least nice.

I saw numerous positive comments about Banfield Walker rd. and trusted them to the care of my best pal Buddy the Giant ( a large Maine Coon). I can only RAVE about the care and attention and gentle caring that he got there! Dr. Downs is a gifted professional. His knowledge and his innate understanding of the condition of these little beings is part of the magic he brings to this hospital...but his obvious deep caring goes far beyond the norm. My ferocious big cat got 2 incisors taken out while he underwent his dental operation and I am grateful to the Dr. and to his staff who followed every protocol and used their expertise to gently handle him . I was so impressed I immediately bought a years membership---this is the only place I will ever bring my catwhale! By the way--he is resting in regal peace as if nothing ever happened. Your staff and your doctor are absolutely wonderful. Dont hesitate to trust that your pet will be treated like they are family here. EXCELLENT!!!!!!!!! Well oilled corporate marketing machine I took my dog in because he had a foxtail stuck in his toe. After reminding me about how he needs all up his shots updated (he was up to date), doing tests, and manipulating the pricing so if you sign up for a wellness plan or pay 4x the price......$150 cash later my dog's issue was still not fixed and I spent maybe 5-10 minutes in total with the vet. They wanted to charge me $800 dollars to have it removed 2 days later. I went to another vet that same day and they took care of the entire issue for $40 with great service. Should have read the reviews first. If you plan on taking your pet here plan on being treated like a cash machine rather than a customer.

I haven't been to another vet... yet. I wont be going back to this one though. They charged over $140 for keeping my cat for less than one day of post-op "observations". This included IV, food + water... Since when is a single can of cat food worth over $5? Even the best stuff is 50 cents a can at most. You can imagine my shock when they said they could remove some stitches free of charge. If it's not clear yet... They overcharge. The only reason I gave this place more than 1 star is because the staff is very friendly and really nice to the people and the animals that come with them... Love the staff, Hate the prices... Going to Vista from now on. I hear they are quite affordable and have a great staff.

My dog broke his tail today and was in a lot of pain. I was afraid this was going to be extremely expensive (x-rays, shots, tests, follow up visits), but the Vets did only what was needed to treat my dog. I have seen several Doctors at Banfield in the past and I feel comfortable with all of them. I wish my personal Doctor had as much compassion and love as these Veterinarians do. My visit cost only $30 because we are on the Pet Wellness Program and I would strongly recommend it to anyone. I would like to thank the entire staff at Banfield, especially Vina and Dr. Webb.
