We had to put a family pet down and they were very kind and careful about it all. Gave us all the options we could take and explained everything very thoroughly. Definitely not a happy thing to go through but the staff here sure take a bit of the sting out of it.

I'm a frequent flyer at the vet clinic with four dogs and a cat. I find their service to be friendly and professional, and you can tell they really care about their clients. I don't normally write reviews, but I was a bit disturbed by the really horribly negative review below, especially regarding pricing. Hart Road isn't out of line with other clinics (and yes, long ago when I only had 2 dogs I used to take them to Companion). You won't regret trying them.

Great, friendly customer service and knowledgeable veterinarians. I really enjoy this veterinary hospital and their welcoming, kind staff. I will continue to go here with my pets and will recommend to others as well. Prices are average and quality of staff and care is above average.

Hart Road is a great place to take your pet and I HIGHLY recommend them. They may not be the cheapest, but I believe you get what you pay for here. I've had a lot of animals over the years, lived in many places. I've also paid some money out to (CPC). However, when I left, I felt like I just left an OHSU Residency program, but for for animals. Short story: When my sisters dog was laying in the back of her car convulsing. She drove to 3 pet hospitals in Aloha/Bvrtn area(while the dog was seizing). The first Vets asked for her credit card information bebfore she could even have the dog seen. When she pulled up at Hart Road the staff dropped what they were doing and all RAN out to her car and brought her dog into their clinic and saved the dogs life. No questions asked upfront. Clearly they are more concerned about animals that money. Would CPC do this, highly unlikely! And would I want students working on my family pets? No Thank You! Word of advice, don't have pets if your more worried about your pocket book than your family friend. Pets ARE expensive and need people that are committed to thier well being!
