Westside was wonderful! They took special care of my beloved dog during his neuter, even though he has breed related anesthesia sensitivity and is scared of going to the dr.'s. His recovery went well and Dr.Shaw saw him to make sure he was healing properly for free. I would recommend Westside to anyone!

The entire team at Westside Pet Hospital takes the times to get to know the individual and the pets that we care about so much. It is nice to feel appreciated for the local business but know that your pet is getting excellent care. This pet hospital is a place you can take your pet and trust that it is getting the best care possible.

Westside Pet Hospital is wonderful! Dr. Shaw is very gentle, thorough, and loving towards our dog Zoey. He even took the time to give an operating room tour to my sons and allow them to "analyze" Zoey's slide under the microscope! He explains issues in simple, understandable language and is always quick to respond to phone inquiries and follow up with results. MacKenzie also provides a warm welcome to an already-lovely front office. We feel very well-cared for by Westside Pet Hospital and recommend the practice highly.

Gone are the days of dragging my dog into the vet's office, now my dog drags me in! Dr. Shaw has a wonderful bedside manner that my sweet skittish labradoodle Greta really appreciates. McKenzie's wonderful energy adds exponentially to Greta's enjoyment when she visits. Greta also loves that she gets to play with McKenzie's poodle sometimes on her visits too. Dr. Shaw has been great about balancing his suggestions and recommendations about how to keep my Greta healthy and happy within the parameters of my budget and I appreciate that very much. It seems Dr. Shaw is truly in his element with his work with animals. Greta's goofy look got him giggling out loud as he was listening to her heartbeat. How lovely to giggle and find joy in one's work! We all know our dogs just don't live long enough. Greta is a young pup, and I am comforted to have found a veterinary hospital that I know we will both be happy with as she grows up and then faces the medical challenges that aging dogs do. I find great peace in that. Thanks Dr. Shaw and McKenzie! Greta and I both think you're wonderful!

Dr. Shaw is great. We had to put my cat down, Tiger Sue, and Dr. Shaw and his staff made the tough situation okay. My dog and other cat love his clean office and the friendly atmosphere. He has years of experience (close to 30) so he knows what he is doing. He loves what he does and it shows. My dog, Bennie and cat Puff love him and that says a lot. I also appreciate how he works within my budget and lets me rearrange appointments when necessary. He does eastern medicine as well and I think it is great to have another added option for pet treatment. A great vet, don't hesitate to make an appointment and come see for yourself.
