Friendly and honest when it came to what my cat needed and what he didn't. Asked me if I wanted a run down of all the prices before they did anything. Very timely care. 4 stars because the antibiotic drops were 60% cheaper at the pharmacy.

I was pleased with my visit to this clinic until I got the bill. All I had asked for was a simple urine test and when I went to check out they wanted to charge me $250.00 for blood tests and some other extra tests. Every other vet clinic I have been to goes over the charges before anything is done! This was not the case at Polk vet clinic. I also had a $20 coupon for the clinic that they would not honor because they said I was not a new client. I had been in the previous 2 days with 2 stray cats with vouchers to get them fixed which I could not use the new client coupon for those. I brought my personal cat (not a stray) in for her first visit and upon checking out feel that I was not taken care of. I care for 19 cats and will be taking them and my business to another clinic.

I wanted to write a review about about Polk Vetinary Clinic. I have been a client for close to 5 years now. I would go to Dr. Brotherton with anything related to my animals. I am extremely confident when I go to the vet clinic for a regular check up for one of my animals or for an emergency that my animals are going to receive the best in care. I used to live in Washington and I had no problem driving the 4 hours it would take to bring my animal. The staff there is amazing and I feel that they would do anything for my animals. I would recommend Dr. Brotherton and her staff to anyone and I have.

I have taken my pets to the Polk Vet Clinic for veterinary care and boarding for years and have always been very happy with the high quality, loving care my animals receive. Dr. Trina and her staff always go the extra mile to make the animals as comfortable as possible. She is also a great diagnostician; able to figure out complex problems and clearly communicate what is wrong, then give clear choices as to the course of treatment. I have recommended Dr. Trina to others and will continue to recommend her to anyone who loves their pets!

This is one of the absolute best places you could take your pet for care. We had an exceptionally high quality male Rottie that received a traumatic injury to his testicles and as it became increasing apparent after all options were explored, that surgery was needed. Everything above and beyond the call duty was done to save the one viable testicle, as we really wanted a litter of puppies from this guy. The kind of care you get for your animals in this clinic is equal to the Mayo Clinic for humans, caring, excellent surgical facility, and a well educated, compassionate staff, extremely clean surgical facility and examining rooms. The staff is very compassionate and caring in time of crisis or for just routine visits. They know you by first name and remember you and your pets. I have used the particular doctor for many years and in many situations. Here is what Tyler, Sadie, Muffy, Einstein, Stuart, Shadow, Tootsie, China, Tilly, Sam, Lady, have to say about Dr. Brotherton, "please, please take me in the room first," as they are excited to be in the clinic and are excited to see the doctor, which when you have several Rotties and many other pets this is saying something. In my 35 years of owning pets, and training animals finding a vet that you can trust and that will be around for years is something that does not come along every day. You and your pets are treated like part of the family in this clinic. So take your pets here for the best care you will ever receive.
