From the front desk staff, to the techs, to the doctors - it's 5 star service for my 4 cats and 2 dogs Very impressed with the level of caring and compassion that everyone at Animal Health Associates provides my fur children. They explain exactly what they are doing each step of the way and answer all of my many questions. My pets feel very safe and comfortable during their visits there. Super clean clinic and love the new cat waiting area!

Best vet I've ever taken my pets to. Drs. Johnson and Schroeder are wonderful, competent, and compassionate people. We have two special needs cats, one with diabetes and thyroid issues, the other with three legs, and we couldn't be more pleased with the care they are receiving at AHA. They clearly enjoy working with animals, are very attuned to each of our cats, and understand their individual personalities. They take the time to get to know each animal they treat indivdually, as well as their owners. They ask questions and really listen, and don't treat unnecessarily. Last year we had a very senior kitty with a number of health issues that were making him very sick. We knew the prognosis was not going to be good, and after the exam Dr. Johnson was very candid about his condition. Sometimes the right decision is to finally let your beloved pet go, and she understood this. Although she did let us know what the options were if we wanted to continue treatment, she did not make us feel as though we should continue to do more just for the sake of it, and was very frank about the typical outcomes. We did not feel pressured to make a choice one way or the other and appreciated Dr. Johnson's candor about the realities of the situation, and although the decision to put our sweet boy down was very difficult, we felt we were making the best possible and informed decision without putting our pet through unnecessary pain and misery. Dr. Schroeder saw our three-legged kitty when he was just a few weeks post surgery and still recovering. She was very sweet and gentle with him and hugged and kissed him at the end of the exam. We are equally impressed with the supporting staff at AHA. The techs are very knowledgeable and great with our pets, the assistants and front office staff are extraordinarily helpful and friendly, and they all know us and make us feel very welcome whenever we come in. Like the doctors, it is clear that these people are all great animal lovers. One might think that this is an obvious prerequisite to working in a veterinary clinic, however that has not always been my experience at other clinics, at least not this consistently, and it is a quality that is very much appreciated.

This clinic surpassed all my expectations. They were very friendly and genuinely cared for my puppy. All of the staff were able to answer my questions and provide me with more resources. When I had concerns about my pet insurance, they called my provider. When I had questions about where to buy a specific pet food, they called local pet stores for me. In addition, they offer great puppy plans that save you approximately 25% off the provided services in the package. Highly recommended!

Very Disappointed!! I had chosen this clinic because of all the great reviews here, but was extremely disappointed in the level of care my now dead cat received. My cat was very old and his health had begun to decline. Over a period of two months I brought him for several exams and blood tests intended to monitor his condition...which steadily declined. These visits and tests cost me well over $1500, which as a student was financially devastating. There was no improvement in his health, by the end he couldn't drink, eat, or groom. At this point, he was ready to go, but the vet wanted to do an $800 exploratory surgery ( this was right before the weekend). My cat was miserable, but the vet wanted to do the surgery after her days off, which would have meant an additional 4 days of suffering for my cat. I took him to the emergency clinic over the weekend to see if there was anything that could be done sooner. The vet at the emergency clinic was positive that even if my cat made it through the 4 days he would almost certainly not survive surgery because of his age and his health. Rather than put my cat through any additional suffering, I chose to have him put to sleep. Why didn't the vet at Animal Health Associates have the compassion to be this candid with me? I will never take another animal to this clinic.

I have been taking 1 cat there for well over 16 years (and 2 others pets also) and went from Dr Greer (he retired) to Dr Johnson. They have gone well over beyond and above when crisis occured. They treat my pets like I would like to be treated with empathy and compassion. There is nothing bad to say about these guys and every penny spent is well worth it. The ladies up front recall me every time I go there and are friendly and the one time there was a crisis they got me in whithen the hour. I am grateful that they are there for my 'kids'. :)
