A 14 year old dog is left alone and scared by those who are supposed to help. First rule should be to do no harm, yet they have refused to release the poor little thing to it's loving family not once but three times. Threats to the family have left them very upset and fearful for their beloved pet! It is an abomination!

My husband and I adopted two cats from Greenhill a few days ago. All of the cats in the cattery seemed healthy, hygienic, and happy. In the two and a half hours that my husband and I were visiting, there was always somebody petting the cats and giving them attention. The staff were very helpful and friendly. They provided us with a ton of information on our new family members. I definitely would recommend them for anyone seeking to adopt a pet.

Not impressed. I just moved from Florence, OR where I was involved with the shelter there. Eugene could learn a lot from Florence, which is truly a hard-working and compassionate group of people. I just called Greenhill Humane Society to ask about donations for the shelter to sell and got the typical corporate recording and not a friendly one. I just wanted to ask a simple question but apparently GHS is just too busy, doing what, I can't imagine.

Dogs may not be adequately evaluated nor accurately described. They are offering for re-adoption the dog that injured me with no mention of this or her special needs, along with other inaccuracies and misinformation.

I adopted my two guinea pigs from this shelter. They take great care of the animals and the shelter is clean. :]
