I took my dog Sadie there today, got her spayed, when I came to pick her up, I noticed her stitches were torn as the assistant was going to hand her back to me, I told them and they glued up the incision instead of restitching the area. I asked about the pain med for her after care, which i was told earlier that day, I would be getting some to take home, the assistant informed me that I would HAVE to go to a regular vet to get any medication. I thought this was odd as my previous experience with them (a week ago) they gave me meds for my other dog to take home.They informed me that their vet didn't have time that day to do a full exam on her, Which is why I think they didn't give me meds, because some inexperienced assistant decided she was okay. Sadie was having panic attacks on the way home, seemed like she was unable to sit still, in extreme amounts of pain and was whimpering the entire way. At home it was worse, She kept crying, nothing helped, bedding being changed, position she would lay in, pets or hugs. I called my mom, trying to get her to talk to them, since I called about 4 times, leaving a voicemail, and never getting a reply, and she finally got a hold of someone to get a prescription for my dog. One thing that pissed me off entirely, is that I ASKED for the meds, and was told I could not have any for my dog. I know my dogs, and I knew when I picked her up she was in pain, but couldn't do anything since I was refused meds. I even called around in my town's vet offices for quotes on meds, which would be equal to the value of her surgery she had earlier, which I didn't have money for. I don't know who even ended up agreeing to give my mom a prescription on her way home from work, but thats the one thing keeping me from giving this place a single star instead of two. I wouldn't take my pets here again, if you are looking for a bargain on spay or neuters, go elsewhere.
