I had called before I came out there if I brought my dog out to get her booster shot. Would I have to pay for her office visit. I was told no by one of the employee that works there. Because I,am on limited income. The young girl sitting behind the desk. Said no I have to pay for a office visit . She was really being a rude bitch !!!! you know what you should honor what that person told you over the phone. don,t get me wrong I love my babies and I want them to be taken care of the right way. but i have to plan ahead so i can save my money. so now my dog did not get her shot and i have to pay for the office visit. which is fine. but i dont need a rude bitch sitting behind the desk acting like a smart ass. telling me what to do.

This is the place to go to kill your dog. My dog got sick so I took her in and was charged $280 for test and an Rx for steroids. They told me to come in the fallowing week for another test which I did. I asked how much it will cost and was told $12.50. After they took her back they gave me a bill for another $130. Again I asked what was wrong and they said she has worms and an immune system problem. they asked me to bring her back the fallowing week for another test for $12.50. I did and got another $90 bill. each time I asked if she was in pain and if putting her down was the humane choice. Each time I was told she would get better. The next night after her last visit I found her gone. I'll spare the details but it DID NOT look like it was peaceful. If i were you i wouldn't bring them my goldfish. Worst vet I have ever seen. There just looking for your money. I wish I could give them less than 1 star. If you do the math I paid $500 for my dog to die a horrible painful death. Thanks Companion

I decided to switch vet clinics for my 3 dogs after recieving much better care at Mt Hood Pet Medical and have made several attempts to have my pets records faxed to their new clinic. Mt Hood Pet Medical has even made several attemps and Companian Pet Clinic has ignored all the requests. The front desk clerks have always been unfriendly and vets are always in such a hurry they barely spend any time examing my dogs. I would not reccomend them.

I have several animals that I have taken here and each time the staff has been helpful, supportive, caring and understanding. The wait time has always been reasonable. I once had to put my elderly dog down there and the staff was so comforting and supportive. I felt like they truly cared about what was best for her. I will not take my animals any where else.

If you really don't care about your animal,this is the place to go. Think you going to save money, think again! This is no longer like the prior companion on Powell! My sis took her healthy 7 month old dog in for a simple spay procedure due to a 60.00 coupon from the humane society. They said for an extra amount they would administer iv fluids to prevent dehydration so she agreed. When she picked her up she was bleeding profusely and so dehydrated that her lips were sticking to her gums. They told her she had 'bled all over' during surgery due to being in heat. My sis told them she had been out of heat for 2 months and she purposely waited until she was out of heat to have her spayed. They told her they can be in heat for 3 months ...not true. They then also charged her for 2 spays...bill now 220. Myah was crying in pain and bleeding so they took her in the back and wrapped gauze around her. My sis rushed her to an emergency real vet where it was discovered she was a close to needing a blood transfusion, lost 3 staples already and was severely dehydrated and NOT IN HEAT! The 60.00 bill turned into 500.00! UPDATE- 4 days after surgery most staples came out during the night....she is in a crate and not active....flaps of skin are hanging and she is bleeding....great job Companion...now bill will be more like 800.00!!! All of this for trying to save money using the coupon! Note most of the good reviews were from over 4 years ago. They have new Drs. the one that worked on Myah was a female her last name starts with a W.
