My experience with East Ridge and its family of veterinarians has been excellent. Dr. Becky has taken care of my pets several times and Dr. Carolyn once. Regarding Dr. Marcie Keener, when hubby and I first met her we weren't sure of her as she had just graduated and obtained her license. Over the time that she has treated our pets, especially one of our older cats, she has proven not only her total competence but her love of animals. Being a skeptical type of person, I trust Marcie Keener and all of the vets at East Ridge with all aspects of the care of our fur babies.

What Twinklee fails to tell is the rest of the story. These three different days included days that the clinic was closed. Dr. Keener spent time on her day off to accommodate the expectations of this person. As for the samples, had the collections been done when Dr. Keener originally suggested there would have been better, more viable sperm and the cost of the collection would have been much less due to the business getting done during regular business hours.

Dr. Keener sent three samples collected from a stud dog and sent them across the country on three different days. Each time she looked at the sample to verify it was worthy to use the extender and separator and them send for breeding to my bitch. The first one didn't even have any sperm in it, not even dead ones. The second one had damaged sperm and my vet thought it might have been a handling error. The third one was the only sample that was worth anything. And this all cost $613 not including shipping or the stud fee or my vet's fees. RIDICULOUS! Vet had a different story every time I spoke to her during this nightmare. Beware if you are going to use this vet for AI.
