Many years ago, I job shadowed Dr. Lintner because of my fascination and love for birds. Though I did not ultimately choose avian veterinary medicine as my personal career path, I am very happy to know there are those like Dr. Lintner who specialize in our feathered friends. Today I took my new baby African Grey for a wellness checkup. My appointment was a little late, but after Dr. Lintner did see me and my Grey I understood why. I explained this was a new bird and she took the time to give me some tips for pet care based on research and information she has noticed in her practice. She also encouraged me to call and verify any bird care information I may find on the Internet or elsewhere. She takes the time to explain and educate and that is something I very much appreciate, even if it does take a little more time. I care about my bird and Dr. Lintner and her friendly staff care about them too.
