Even after I moved 10 miles away from the hospital, I still keep bringing my pets here for veterinary care, boarding and grooming - all the doctors are great, very compassionate, very knowledgeable and very friendly. All nurses and staff are really caring; they seem to genuinely love pets. I also prefer the more personalized care, not like a huge, impersonal branch of a big chain veterinary hospital. Because I know almost all nurses and care takers, I put my entire trust on the Oswego Veterinary Hospital crew, they are truly amazing!

For nearly twelve years our Chinook has immensely disliked going to the vet. Every time we approached a vet clinic, our dog would refuse to leave the car and, once inside the clinic, her legs would shake like a pair of tuning forks until we were back at home. As her hips begin to become more of a challenge, I looked to find a new vet that we could take her to that wouldn't have her freaking and collapsing under her own shaky-weight. Oswego Veterinary Hospital was an exceptional experience. From the moment we arrived, our dog smelled the flowers in front and made her way up the ramp to the front door. Only when she got to the door mat did she start to understand what was going on but by then we were already greeted by some of the sweetest and most kind lab techs. They helped the dog get into the office and then handed us over to a vet in training who took paperwork and vitals. Our dog was definitely shaking but didn't appear to want to bolt out of the room at the first sign of light. When the vet arrived, our dog wasn't the most mannered of patients, but the doctor examined her closely, carefully and with questions that made it obvious she cared about our dog and her comfort. In the end, we left the clinic on a positive but something took place at the front door that hasn't happened in 12 years of going to the vet, my dog actually wanted to go back inside! She liked getting treats and definitely wanted *just one more*. I happily obliged as it was amazing to see our dog not completely devastated by a trip to the doctor. We have a follow up in two weeks and I'm looking forward to seeing how she responds. My only regret is not finding Oswego Veterinary Hospital when we first moved to the area. Could have saved us a tremendous amount of trembling.

OVH provides wonderful pet care. When we have had our kitty boarded they have been wonderful. They have been caring, professional and we trust them with our kitty. I would highly recommend them to anyone that is looking for great pet care. They are great! Anita

In this age of ever escalating costs, I find their prices most reasonable. Caring staff.

When I moved here 2 1/2 years ago, I worried that I wouldn't be able to find a vet as wonderful as my vet in CA. But I did: Oswego Veterinary Hospital. I had 3 cats and a dog and they have been seen by Dr. Tongue, Dr. Duggan and Dr. Ward, all of whom have treated them with loving care. What I like most though is that they take time with me and my pets. I never feel as though they're rushing. The vet techs are great too as are the groomers, the kennel staff and the front desk ladies My dog boards there fairly often and I can tell that she loves the kennel staff. It makes it easier for me to leave her knowing that she is being lovingly cared for. I give the hospital my highest recommendation.
