The idea is good. The implementation is awful! We have been one of the early Hannah pet owners (3 years) and our experience has in most part been good except when it comes to service. Try calling them on the phone. You are put on hold for a very long time and then you get a person who knows nothing, and can’t do anything with your request. USELESS. They give you the wrong information. They set wrong appointments. They send you to the wrong place. They have no clue about anything in that organization. And then, you get an appointment to see the doctor. Well, plan on sitting in the lobby and then in the exam room for hours. HOURS!? The staff is clueless and the doctors are over-booked and over-worked. I guess that is how they make their money. Hire cheap labor and a few vets and work them hard. If you love your dog, you go and see the head doctor, Dr. Hughes (he is great) or you may want to get a pet insurance and go to a real pet clinic.

Total scam. Just a rip off to sell vet services at a inflated rate. Being sued by angry customers and needs to be shut down. A for profit predatory business in the puppy mill business.

I have not had any problems with Hannah in the past and I LOVE the Tigard location. But, this location failed miserably! I took my dog in to get neutered and when I went to pick him up they could not find him and left me worrying in the waiting area for 25 minutes before someone came to tell me he had needed a bath before sending him home. When they did send him out, they gave me the medication and paper work for the wrong dog. I then had to drive 40 minutes to the Tigard location to get the proper medication for him. Very frustrating! Even though this location was a disappointment I will continue with Hannah but will ONLY use the Tigard location in the future.

We have had our Hannah dog for over a year and have loved the experience. We have been in the market for another dog as a playmate for our dog. We found the perfect puppy. When we decided to go ahead with the adoption there had been a hold placed on him so we had to wait a week to see if he had been adopted. Joanna said that we were next in line if the original people changed their minds. Well luckily the family changed their minds. I called Joanna immediately to give her my credit card to get the adoption going. I was on the phone when she said "where did he go" then placed me on hold, then cam back and said "he's already on cash hold with another family but we don't usually do cash holds" then it was like "well sorry" and she didn't care at all. I'm pretty upset this is happening.

No, Hannah Pet Society is not an insurance company. Yes, they retain ownership, on paper. I still find the cost of service very worth it! I set one of my cats up on the TLC program (she has IBS) and the cost of food alone was more expensive than the monthly fee. I'm so glad I did. I no longer have to worry about her, and she is always well cared for every time we visit. I then inquired about their placement services. A staff member brought in this adorable Australian Shepherd puppy (9 weeks old). He was shy for a little bit, but then ran right into my lap and snuggled with me, played with me, and was so adorable! You know how they say "the animal picks you," well, that's exactly what happened. My husband and I signed the contract right then and there, they even gave us a discount on the placement fees! Hannah has been nothing but supportive and friendly. We do business with them at the Mall 205 location, if that makes any different to the negative reviewers here... He goes to weekly training classes, which both you and the pup are giving great advice and assistance with training your pup to be the best he/she can be! Artek is now almost 7 months old and he is currently my therapy companion animal, and on his way to being a great service dog. Hannah also has a staff member that used to train service animals and is happy and willing to assist if I need any! I couldn't be more pleased with all that Hannah provides and does. They are great!
