These people clearly love animals and their jobs. The building feels more like a cozy study than a medical practice center, which made me feel more at ease...I have always hated how cold and unfriendly hospitals feel and never could figure out how that was supposed to make anyone feel better! These guys definitely have a good place and I will recommend it to all my Portland area friends!!!

They're absolutely wonderful! I've been to a few vets around town and Mt Tabor has been the best by far. The office is warm and inviting, and I feel a lot of the design choices make it less stressful for my cat. The vets are warm and honest, which I really appreciate. They do sometimes recommend services that I can't afford/don't think I really need, but they don't make it awkward when I pass on them and they understand my situation. It ended up costing about $100 for my cat's annual visit +2 shots, which I think is pretty reasonable for the level of care received.

What a truly great experience. Went above and beyond to make my dog comfortable. The design and decor helps make the room feel less like an exam room which also helps in easing the dogs' stress. They also did all the exams on the floor, also helping helping with my dogs stress. And finally I was allowed to be present while all the vaccinations were given. While it isn't pleasant to watch, the dog is more calm when you are with them. They were very informative and transparent with everything they were doing.

I love these guys! The entire staff go well out of their way to make you and your pet feel as comfortable as possible. The office are also very nice, full of wood and other natural materials that avoid the clinical, alienating atmosphere of other veterinary clinics we've visited. The doctors are kind and have excellent 'bedside manner" with your pets, but are also very professional. If you live in SE Portland, I highly recommend you select Mt. Tabor for your veterinary needs.

The best vet service I have ever used. I would not consider using another vet after using them. Their pricing is modest for the quality of service they provide. Great staff - I could go on and on. It' a 10 out of 10 and a great environment, great service and great people. I used Dr. Lisa Williams. She had great communication skills after the visit - overall, a great experience.
