My dogs see Dr Lathrop and Dr Eddy usually (though we have had great experiences with the whole staff when we needed to get in more urgently.) I am going to focus on Dr Eddy because she recently has been caring for my 11+ year old big mutt of a dog Bert. Dr Eddy recently removed a very large benign lipoma (sp?) from Bert's chest. The size of the incision relative to the growth was remarkable (meaning it was small) Bert recovered quickly and within two weeks was out walking and now a month later he is romping around like he was a 7 year old. Dr Eddy'c care and attention and her amazing surgical skills are unsurpassed from my experience. And she did not push for surgery. In fact, we tried many less invasive and less expensive things first, only opting for surgery when all else had failed. I appreciate the service and care of Dr. Lathrop's clinic and special thanks to Dr. Eddy.

Powell Vets and their awesome staff are a rare find. The level of service and care goes above and beyond, and I would recommend them for anyone looking for a high quality and comfortable environment for their pet.

Friendly staff & very accommodating! They made room right away for me to bring in my old fat cat Chubby for a raspy rawr and not acting himself. After a non-scary exam, some advice & assurances, Chubby can now RAWR with the best of them and is now on a new diet to boot. They were kind and professional and didn't try to sell me on things I didn't need.

They've been clear, honest, and generous with their time and attention to my and my pet's needs. I would highly recommend them.
