Did not have a good experience at Vista. I had just adopted a dog on 12/22, and we needed to have him neutered ASAP. I also let them know I had the neutering coupon from Humane Society Called and made an appointment, told them he had been coughing, had a lot of anxiety, and just needed to be looked at in general in addition to the neutering. When I got there, they just took him away. No examination with me and the doctor, no sit down to ask what was going on with him, nothing. It was like dropping my car off at the repair shop. They called me during his surgery to tell me his back claws were coming off, so they suggested removing them. I had no idea what this meant, but they just told me it'd be best for him in the long run, so I agreed. When I picked him up, they gave me a ton of information, but not much written detail for me to follow up with later. I had to keep calling to ask for clarification. A few days later, I noticed one of his back paws was swollen up twice it's size. They had wrapped the bandages on his back legs so tight that one paw wasn't getting any circulation. I had to take it off, ice it on and off for about an hour, and it eventually went back to normal. I went to a different vet, and they have heard similar reviews about Vista. I'm really disheartened by this, because there were so many good reviews about this place. Maybe this just happens when people use the neutering coupon? At any rate, really bad experience, and we will be taking our pup elsewhere.

We have been taking our four-legged family members (once even a hamster) to Dr. Davis since he purchased the practice over 30 years ago. He has been compassionate and caring throughout the care of our long-lived dogs, some with unusual health issues. All our friends we have recommended him to love the clinic as well. He gives back to the community through his volunteer work. Dr. Cook has been a wonderful addition to the clinic, she fits right in with his philosophy and approach.

We have taken dogs and cats to Vista Pet Hospital for almost 10 years. Dr. Davis came highly recommended by a retired veterinarian, and that was reinforced when a previous vet missed a diagnosis and Dr. Davis picked up on it quickly. So we made the switch to him and have never been sorry. The office is homey, down-to-earth, unhurried, friendly, professional, and reasonably priced. The wait is never long. The staff seem to enjoy working there. The addition of Dr. Kristin Cook has been a plus, as she has also given our dog and cat good care. We highly recommend Vista Pet Hospital.

This vet's office is awesome! I've been bringing my Min Pin to see Dr. Davis for the past 4 years or so. The staff is really friendly and truly care about your four legged friends. I drive in from Gresham to see Dr. Davis as I always know I'm getting the best care for my dog while also getting the best prices around. My parents actually drive down from Canada to bring their dog in to see Dr. Davis!

I was recommended to Vista Pet Hospital by a former employee after getting my chi/poodle mix puppy last year and I have had no regrets! Any time I call or have an appointment the staff is super friendly and helpful! Even though I live on the east side, it is worth the trek to the west side because the prices are amazing, I don't make much and I am still able to give my dog great vet care which means A LOT to me! I highly recommend going to Vista, the staff is friendly, patient and knowledgable. I truly believe they love what they do and it isn't all about money and the cost of their services reflect that.
