I have to admit to being "pet" ignorant as I have just begun having pets - but to date have been very pleased with the care demonstrated by Dr. Hartman and the staff at Companion Animal Clinic. We adopted an abandoned cat and took him in for a checkup. They were very attentive and answered all of our many many questions. Later he developed glaucoma and they were quick to ensure he got the help he needed as soon as possible. I greatly admire all of the staff at CAC and their dedication to pets!!

I have been taking my dogs to Companion for over 35 years and have nothing but good to say about the care they have gotten. I don't know of any other Clinic that sends a sympathy card when your best friend has to be put to rest. I for one would not take my dogs to anyone else unless it was after hours and a emergency. I am just hoping that Dr. Ross does not decide to retire to soon.

I took my rare breed pup in for her visit and a "Lepto" injection. They did not tell me nor give me any document stating there could be a side effect. I thought my puppy was going to die later that day and even rushed her to an after hours vet clinic elsewhere. I later found that "Lepto" injections have killed pets. A week later I got a letter stating they no longer wanted me as a client because 1) I used foul language towards the staff and doctors 2) They gave me a document on Lepto side effects. LIES! This was due to one person named Teresa. The Doctor and managing partner did not contact me to find the truth. They lack compassion towards people, do not know how to handle conflict, and do not follow protocol when it comes to communicating with clients which is a big No-no. I am still waiting for an apology from them and still have yet to hear from them. I will pursue legal action. I am a business professional from Eugene and discussed this issue with a few vets that I know and they all agree what this practice did was a total failure. Stay away from this vet clinic if you love your pet. ********Update******** Pay no attention to Dr. Ross post on my complaint. I had sent two letters to his practice in which they chose not to respond. Just to simply gather facts in order to come to an informed decision. Instead this practice chose to rely on one employee's lie. On the other hand I have a witness. Folks, talk to other vets about LEPTO, and see what they say about it. Dr. Ross, you only had to do the right thing and you chose not to. You make your comments here but you lack professionalism by not speaking with me about this situation. Simply amazing!

I have only good things to say about Dr. Ross and his dedicated staff at Companion Animal Clinic. My family has been bringing our beloved pets to his team for well over 20 years and have only ever experienced the greatest of care and respect for both our four-and two-legged family members alike. As a child interested in veterinary medicine, Dr. Ross was kind enough to share information with me regarding his field. He even came to one of my classes in middle school to talk to my fellow students! Now an adult, I often wish I still lived in Roseburg just so that my current pets could receive the same amazing care at Companion Animal Clinic that my family's pets continue to enjoy. If you love your pets like we do, do yourself a favor and partner with the fine staff at Companion Animal Clinic to ensure them the best health and well-being possible. And thank you, Dr. Ross, for all you have done for my family and our community!

My experience has always been nothing but excellent. All the doctors on staff are more than willing to care for all my pets no matter the circumstances.
