2000 00 for surgery cat died 3 days later they don't know why. they have no refunds and no heart. stay away

Took our cat who had got into a fight and needed immediate treatment to Vitality and due me having to work I had to ask my 17 year old to take him in ,and Vitality totally took advantage of her ,Did not give her the choice in choosing oral antibiotics which is way cheaper to give the cat ,the doctor decided for her to give her the shot which is triple the cost the doctor said she prefers to give the shot because most cats run away from meds, never even asked if our cat did that or not which in fact he is really good at taking medicine,They did a horrible job at shaving around the wounds and when i called to ask why they picked the most expensive treatment when there was a way cheaper treatment ,i got a snuddy response that maybe my daughter should call me before saying yes to treatment, I said maybe you shouldnt take advantage of teenagers and ask what they financially can afford and my daughter was making a decision that was the only option the doctor gave her, the doctor response on oral medication is I am sure I did tell her there are oral medication but can not recall if i gave her the price My daugther had a friend with her and both of them said the doctor never gave them a choice, IF you want your pet to have the best treatment take them to Willamette Vally hospital in keizer they will give you options and treat you with respect and they do care about what you can afford and not afford ! after all of this I spoke with a few co workers and not one of them had a positive thing to say about vitality hospital ,In fact one of our supervisor said if he would have known i was taking one of my pets there he would have diffentetly try to talk me out of it

I've taken my mini schnauzer there twice and they were very good! No complaints at all! They did encourage me to buy things that I didn't think were necessary but overall they were fine. I just said no. They did a fine job caring for my pet! Very nice!

Went in to have our dog checked up. But what he said before-hand was just inappropriate. Why? This apparent vet "doctor" tells us about our dog that he wouldnt hesitant to put him down and send him to "Heaven". This was because our dog's look is a wolf hybrid breed and he was concerned about possible biting when he was older. Excuse me but any breed of dog can bite. Its the way you raise them and if you treat animals badly of course they end up biting other people. Stay clear of this pet clinic. They dont support caring for animals and also think of other means not needed to add to the bill. We ended up going to another pet clinic (in a differant city) and even they were shocked learning on what this doctor said. Take my advice look around before choosing the first place you see, even if its the only one in your town.
