I went there because of the reviews. I did like how the vet and assistant took the time to get to know my dog. We spent 15 -20 minutes chatting and petting and discussing local stories of vet visits. I noticed though, that as the conversations wore on, it was like we were all standing around with nothing left to talk about but we were still there needing to pass the time, so we pet the dog. The vet did look in my dogs ears and her teeth and then asked if I felt she was getting better (she had goop in her eyes and I had mentioned one recent bit of trouble she had pooping). He said she could be having allergies. That might explain the goop... Nothing was certain - which for a mild cold or allergy, it should've been. Finally the lull in conversation was queue for me to thank them. I went to the office and was charged $50.00. Boom! !??! Really?? For what? That's the regular office visit price though. So, they may be great if your pet is really sick or if you've been going there forever. I don't know. I just got a shoddy first impression.

One of the furthest vets in the area from where we live, but we've been going there for years. Dr. B and staff are (mostly) caring, communicative and flexible-- no matter what the situation, they offer OPTIONS for caring for your pets, with the understanding that not everyone can (or will) spend thousands of dollars to diagnose a potentially complicated pet health situation. While there have been a few times over the years that there have been STAFF members (not the Doctors) who have seemed "not the best fit" for the practice, this is definitely the exception-- those folks are generally not around the next time I've visited. I have also NEVER had a vet office "make deals" on service fees-- but we have frequently had office visit fees waived (on multi-cat visits) and/or reduced fees on other services. This has been without asking, done as a "service" for a long-time client with multiple animals. In other offices, I have frequently had the "what did I just pay $60 for?" office visit. I cannot say enough good stuff about Dr. B and staff-- but perhaps the fact that I am willing to repeatedly pack my cats into carriers and drive them across town when they need vet care will speak the words that I cannot.

Taken our animals there for years. The entire staff is very dedicated at making sure you and your pets are well taken care of. They have taken care of the minor visits as well as major surgery. If you haven't been to them you are going to the wrong place.

Huge thanks to DR. B and staff at Q Street Animal Hospital. The service my family and I received from DR. B and staff is above and beyond. My Boston Terrier ( Mojo ) ate a object and it was stuck hi his stomach and intestine. There were further complications and DR. B went above normal duties to help my family and I, most of all my Dog make it through those issue. There was a 50/50 chance he was going to make and today he is here with us. Most caring place to bring your pets. Thanks again DR. B and staff for all your wonderful service.

Where to begin with Q St. Animal Hospital.. I began taking my puppy (American Pit-Bull Terrier) here after looking around online, and researching competitive prices. Liked the reviews I read, and my first experience was remarkable, so this quickly became my little guys vet. While taking my pup (Griever) to get his first shots, the staff is very helpful in answering ANY questions you may have, and does a great job in ensuring that you have a great visit. When Griever was about 15 wks, we realized that something wasn't quite right. He was sleeping less, eating less, and was very lethargic. When he began throwing up, and not eating this is when I immediately took him over to Q St. AH, where I had just been the day before getting his shots. They were able to squeeze us in, on a busy Friday morning, and IMMEDIATELY started running tests, hydrating the little guy, and giving him lots of love. Come to find out Griever had found and eaten a large sock that at this point, was blocking any intestinal action from taking place. After hydrating Griever to see if it would naturally pass, we quickly learned that it would take more than an IV to fix this issue. This is where Q St. blew my mind. We were being faced with a $1200.00 surgery for our puppy, only 2 weeks after I had surgery on my own knee. We knew if we didn't go through with the surgery, that our little guy wouldn't make it through the weekend. Without having all the money up front, they began the procedure, during which one of the assistants actually called the owner to see if they could arrange some kind of payment plan for us. Needless to say, we took our little guy home with us, and he's now healthy as can be at 7 months. Griever LOVES going to the vet to see all of his friends there, and I am currently in the process of paying them every dollar I owe, because they truly deserve it. They were extremely supportive and loving during one of the most difficult times we have faced! If you are looking for sincere, genuine, services, from people who actually give a damn, Q St. Animal Hospital is the only place to go. Wouldn't take my guy anywhere else!
