I was really surprised at the poor service. All I wanted to do was make an appointment. After being on hold for quite awhile with the only words said to me is that they'd be a moment (which is the equivalent of a 'minute'), I hung up and called back. When I was told the same thing, again, I asked how long...I'm thinking, I'll call back after that amount of time...rather than wait on hold indefinitely, with no idea if the phones had been forgotten or what. Instead, the person answering became rude. I wasn't rude when I asked the question, but after she started to get defensive, I just hung up. I pay my bills, and I pay their expensive bills. I'll just take my money and my pet somewhere that actually acknowledges you on the phone and cares about customer service.

We have used this vet for over 25 years. The staff and doctors are always kind and helpful. There have been changes of personnel over the years, but it has consistently been exceptional service and care of our furry family members. They drove our pet to a specialist a few years ago when he needed immediate care and I could not do it. The occasions we had to put our pets down, they were extremely understanding and cried with us. The clinic is still owned by the same vet, and the manager is still family. While there is some turnover, of course, in staff, many have been there a long time. I highly recommend this clinic.

I just discovered Sorrento a year ago after adopting my new dog from the humane society. The front office was very friendly as well as the technicians and the doctors. They spent a lot of time answering my questions (and I had a lot). Everytime I have come in I have received excellent customer service and can tell they really enjoy their jobs and care about the pets. My dog actually enjoys going in there and walks straight onto the scale. My only other veterinary experience is with Banfield and I can say Sorrento definitely spent much more time with me and my pet and didn't try to hard sell me wellness packages and items I didn't really need. I now take all my pets to Sorrento and feel confident recommending them.

We have been customers of Sorrento for many years (upwards of 15+ years) and have trusted them with the care of several dogs and cats over this time. Overall, even with the changes in personnel, the service and care has been above average with the vets and techs, as well as the office folks...always being kind, considerate, and caring. We have had to have several of our pets put down over the years and they have always been extremely caring and kind. In addition, when discussing treatment plans, they are always open to treatment options, traditional and non-traditional, along with the one(s) they are recommending. Reading some of the older posts, I find these comments can easily apply to most any vet clinic. People come and go and while they may be quite good technically are not the best interfacing with the public. This happens and probably should not be taken strictly at face value as to the care provided overall. We are currently down to only one dog and still find Sorrento to be providing excellent care and advice on working with her epilepsy and controlling it. I am happy to refer anyone to Sorrento.

I started taking my two cats to Sorrento Animal Hospital over the previous 4 months and so far I have received nothing but great service and care from the doctors and staff. They are professional, fast, attentive, and very thorough. You can tell the Vets and staff all truly care about your pets health. I found them to be very informative and forward about whatever it was my cats have needed to be done. They treat my cats better than the doctors treat me. By far the best vet clinic I have ever been to. I highly recommend them.
