My 15 lb beagle ended up eating one of my diabetic pills that I accidentally dropped on the floor in order to take them. I brought him in, along with my 7 year old son. My son was freaking out, and the staff there not only took care of Lincoln (the beagle), but also helped in soothing my son. They definitely care about the patients AND the families.

I have trusted my dogs health and well being to Allentown Animal Clinic for almost 20 years. Their knowledge, compassion and caring manner have always made us feel confident in their ability to assist us with the health needs of our pets. The staff is fantastic, friendly and professional and always willing to assist in any way they can. We highly recommend this vetinary practice whenever the opportunity arises to do so. We have referred many of our friends over the years and they too continue to trust the health of their pets to this clinic.

When our first Ferret needed a vet a fellow co-worker told me about Allentown Animal Clinic. Dr. R is wonderful as are the other vets and all the staff. Everyone is friendly and very caring and our visits are always pleasant experiences. Very prompt with getting us into the exam rooms, never feel rushed and give all the options when an operation or anything is needed. Cost is a little high but if you want good care, this is the place to go. Never been disappointed. Sign up for a Care Credit card to give a 6 month interest free payment for your vet bills is worth it. My ferret needed an operation and signing up for Care Credit made the expense less painful. Thanks Dr. Rutkowski for all you expertise and such a fine staff, all our ferrets enjoy being your patients as do my husband and I enjoy knowing the are properly cared for. Our Family

Our Mastiff mix Mollie who is just 16 months old was recently having trouble breathing. She was seen for an emergency visit in the office by Dr Rutkowski who had me drive her to Norristown to be admitted to a hospital. Dr R was very concerned and the entire staff was very comforting. Because of her size and her poor condition the girls even had to help me get her in the car. After 2 days in the hospital we were able to bring her home. The staff of Allentown Animal clinic have called several times to check on Mollie and we will be having a follow up visit this week.

My fiancee and I adopted an Olde English Bulldogge from a pet store that highly recommended Allentown Animal Clinic. Almost a week after having our puppy which we named Dexter, we noticed a few health changes in him and how lethargic he was. On a Saturday morning at 7:30am, I called the vet and left a message with his symptoms and that this would be his first appointment even though figuring it'd be a far shot that they'd have an opening. At 8am sharp when Allentown Animal Clinic opened, I got a return call, which was my first surprise. They asked if we could make an 11:50am appointment, and as long as I could be patient with them, they would do their best to work Dexter into their schedule. When we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and compassion, and they worked our puppy into their schedule. Dr. Sawickij was wonderful, along with her assistants, and they took the time to really exam Dexter. Dr. Sawickij wanted to do an xray after listening to Dexter's breathing thinking he may have pneumonia, which of course we agreed to. As it turned out, Dexter did have pneumonia. As we were checking out, the staff was absolutely wonderful in guiding us as to where to rent a nebulizer, filling prescriptions and any advice they could give to help us have Dexter take his medications. We've been back for multiple appointments for check ups and his shots and travel about a half hour to the office, but it has proven to be a great office of staff and helpfulness...well worth the travel time!
