We have been taking our 2 dogs to Dr. Karen Hess for a number of years and are very pleased. Our one dog Plato is epileptic and constantly battles URIs among other things. Dr. Hess and the staff are very aware of Plato's health conditions and understand when he is having problems we can get him in asap. She doesn't believe in running all types of tests that will jack-up your bill she will do what she feels needs to be done, if I want another test run they will do it. She advised us to pull in a Neurologist and I feel when a doctor gives advice to bring someone else in to help they are looking out for the best interest of the patient. Our other dog had to have some type of skin tag removed and sent out for biopsy, the one vet. gave us an est. of $850 and wanted to put her under general anesthesia, we took Becka to Dr. Hess for a second opinion, she felt at her age, 8 years putting a dog on general anesthesia was not in the best interest of the dog and instead used a local. Not only did my dog do well but the cost was well reduced! Quality care and at a more reasonable price! Becka also tore her ACL, Dr. Hess has a mobile surgeon that will come to her office, I was very pleased with the surgeon. Again, quality care delivered at a reasonable price.

I love Dr. Karen and she took very good care of my new adopted pet Hayes. Great to finally find a trustworthy Vet. Highly recommended

Over the past several years we've trusted Dr. Hess and her staff to provide the best care and advice for our three dogs. We’ve also taken many of the foster dogs to her during this time and Dr. Hess’s caring nature helped get their tails wagging again. I’m sure there are many fine Veterinary services in the area but we have so much trust in the care provided that it would be difficult to recommend someone over Dr. Hess. If you love your pets as much as we do, give them the best care possible.
