Charged huge fees for tests and meds for a cat with a bump on it's head,said she thought it was cancer. Cat became very Sick from meds, the staff did not answer phones. Later the vet(Dale) said they forgot to switch phones over. Went to another local vet, he rubbed some cortisone on bump, gave me small tube and told me to apply, I did and bump went away, cat has been fine since. Confederate woods vet seems to be more interested in up sell's than the actual patient. I would not at all use this vet or her clinic, find another . Spare yourself the agony of poor customer service, and spare your pet the discomfort of a ill managed vet clinic. Uneccesary upsells seem to be the protocol of this vet. Find yourself another vet in the Gettysburg area, there are honest ones with the best intentions of your pet in mind at heart. Prescribing test and meds to a pet is fine as long as when there is an adverse reaction the vet answers the phone, not the case with this vet. The staff is rude, but they did spend 20 minutes selling every thing in the world they could sell to me and ordering tests.
