I have taken my cat twice to the Banfield location in Jenkintown, PA, and both times have been a disappointing experience. For her first appointment three weeks ago, the doctor was late and so I had to wait, but after that everyone was very nice and very helpful, so I shrugged it off as a one time occurrence. This morning, I brought her back for a booster to the distemper vaccine. I arrived at 9am, my scheduled appointment time, and stood at the desk for ten minutes before anyone even came out to greet me. I was then informed that yet again, the doctor wasn't there yet, so please have a seat and wait. The doctor finally showed up 25 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. I find this very unprofessional and quite frankly downright rude. I took time off from work and showed up for my appointment on time, only to be half an hour late getting back to work because I was first ignored and then the doctor was late. I am giving serious thought to driving farther just to go to another location, hoping I can avoid repeating this experience.
